The Dalish inquisitor will likely get trouble without dating anyone, i wouldn't be surprised if their clan see's them as a traitor, ie: was sent to spy on the humans but joined them instead

Considering how some of the Dalish are married, I think their issue might be that your Warden is with a shemlen, rather than with a woman; I honestly don't think they would force the issue if your Lavellan Inquisitor was with Sera, for example. I don't get the impression the Dalish mandate marriages, considering how Gheyna refused to bond with Cammen, and there are some adult characters who don't seem to have children (like Marethari, who seemed to treat Merrill as though she was a surrogate daughter), so it doesn't seem as though they push procreation. Merrill's dialogue with a female Hawke, in contrast to what she says with a male Hawke, also gives me this impression.

It may vary by clan.  TME strongly implies that the various Dalsh clans are growing further and further apart culturally as they remain isolated from each other.  Some may be more tolerant of outsiders than others.  At least in certain aspects.

 

Although none seem to truly trust shemlen.  That would be a big hurdle for a Dalish romancing anyone not Sera or Solas.  "Flat-ears" may be bad enough, as they're outsiders, but at least elves.  And in the case of male Elfquisitors with Cass and Josephine, or females with Cullen or Blackwall (and possibly Iron Bull) there is also the chance of elf-blooded children.  This seems particularly offensive to the Dalish, as it represents a dilution of their people.  They are, after all the self-described "last of the Elvhan"

 

Clans may or may not mandate marriages, though I get the impression they're like quarians, and use some sort of population control: keep the birthrate enough to support the clan's continued existence, not enough that they require too many resources.  But mixing up with outsiders seems to be pretty universally frowned upon.

I think it is irrelevant even to date a city elf at least from what I saw in the last book. A traditionalist extremist dalish elf would look at the city ones with the same level of shame or even worse, since they somehow submit to their human masters or something.

The funny thing about DA:O is that, it gives you a lot of options on the RP side to play a traditional extremist. My dalish elf started by killing humans on the spot. Leliana at some point was her friend but when she talked about the elven people as servants, it just tick her to see Leliana as another human. Zevran, she did not trust and less than the humans in the party.

She did romance Alistair since her role on the dalish was finished and she liked his human humor, it lessen her more hateful side. 

The best thing about all of this, is that, in the end Alistair left her because she could not be a human queen. So despite her more neutral\dislike approach to human society at the end, she did choose to do her duty, heartbroken even. Which means being a sacrifice and not accepting Morrigan offer.
