Probably the lack of large cities and static NPCs (judging from what we have seen so far).
I sure hope I'm wrong about this.

Probably the ending, people seem to be frequently disappointed by those.
In Czech Republic, people seem to most dislike the fact the game is not being translated into Czech.
And then 90% of the people disliking that fact go on saying how they would download it illegally anyway.
It's why I'm sometimes embarrassed for living here. No amount of persuasion is enough to explain the regular Czech thieving bosh'tet that they can't expect ANYTHING if they're not willing to BUY the game.
The lack of cities.
When the game was first announced I was excited. The first couple of videos fueled that excitement. But from what I have seen recently I don't think I'll be getting the game.
I'm not enthused with the fight mechanics from what I've seen.
I don't like the fact that your party isn't always with you when you wander around and that they appear as if by magic when you start a fight.
I don't like that if we play human we are forced to support the Templars even if reluctantly and only at the start of the game.
I'm not happy that there will be no new companions in DLC.
I'm not a big fan of multiplayer.
Not a big fan of female characters they are all too masculine.
As a result I don't think this is the game I was hoping for and I don't think I will play the game any time soon.

1. The companions are there, they will only disappear if your inquisitor is on a mount.
2. This is an RPG, I'm pretty sure you will have the option to dislike Templars.
3. There hasn't been any talk of DLC, the developers are focused on the game, give it a couple months after release for DLC talk.
4. Multiplayer is optional
5. Sorry that all women have to have delicate features and be submissive in your eyes. Wear flower-crowns and wear dresses.
Give me badass women in armor any day.

2 As it states in the character back story like it or not we have to assist the chantry at the start of the game if we play human.
As the youngest child of the Trevelyan noble house, you grew up in the Free Marcher city of Ostwick and have enjoyed a life of privilege. With close family ties to the Chantry, and many relatives among the priesthood and the templars, you were always expected to follow a similar path in service of the Maker—regardless of how you feel about the matter personally. Willing or unwilling, you were sent to the Chantry's conclave to assist relatives who sought to make peace between the templars and mages. It didn't go well.

3 As was rumored, BioWare's upcoming fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Inquisition will not offer new DLC characters, creative director Mike Laidlaw told Official Xbox Magazine. This is because doing so would require them to be on-disc, and BioWare won't do this in the wake of the on-disc controversy that dates back to 2012 and Mass Effect 3.

5 Not all but one would be nice.
That part of the game where Character X disagreed with them.
Kill them!

I didn't know this. So it's like Final Fantasy where you only see one person running around?

Eh, I hate to sound negative but IMO, the biggest disappointment will be the choices and consequences. The whole Keep, like the Mass Effect import mechanic, is more smoke and mirrors than real substance. I don't mean that the devs are lying, but players spend months (or years) imagining all the possible outcomes and consequences of their choices from the previous games and hope they will really happen ingame. But the truth is, as we see with the Mass Effect import mechanic, it will never, ever, ever live up to its potential. It will never ever actually live up to the imaginations and fantasies of the players who spend months daydreaming about their numerous playthroughs.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, importing choices throughout games is a gimmick. It will always get people way more excited than it will ever live up to. It will never reach its potential because Bioware will never make a true sequel, they need to be able to make every game an introduction to new customers, so highly self-referential material will always be marginalized. Don't get your hopes up.
Where are they when the Inquisitor is walking around? I cant see them anywhere. You don't even get the Character Icons on the screen until you start combat.

You can hear the Iron Bull and Sera bantering with each other at 8:03. Unless you're suggesting that the banter comes from disembodied voices...?
Same as with previous games, your companions walk behind you. When the camera is directly behind the PC, you can't see anybody else, because they're behind the camera.
I liked the way you could see the whole party in DA:O and DA:2 I don't like the only see the Inquisitor outside the fight mechanic. It does seem like you have voices in your head rather than being part of a party.

This is something I really dislike and the main reason as to why I'm never getting on a mount.
I'll miss the rivalry system I know that much. Not quite sure how negative approval will work in the next game.

The elder one being a reborn Duncan.
But joking aside not many slots for gears,
No way I will know that until I'm playing the game.
You can probably just zoom out or turn the camera around to see everybody standing behind you.
I think you can turn the camera around but I haven't seen the ability to zoom out and bring the team into the picture on any of the gameplay videos even the ones that where made of people playing at Pax.
They will screw it up in some way, in what way we do not know at this time. Ending abc, a relationship gone phutt. In some way they will miss with the fans ideas and the forums will melt.

As sad as that is I kinda agree with you. It is... disappointing.

Hard to say until I actually play it but the limit of 8 abilities is what irks me the most of everything I've heard about the game. Let's hope there are enough passives, because I'd hate to be pretty much forced to swap active abilities depending on the fight as if this was some other saga.
