BTW, this means that the King of Fereldan is possibly a drug-addict, half-elf, Darkspawn tainted, dragon-blooded, half-mage.
Yep. How cool is that? xD
That's why I always leave him a grey warden.

Al's got dragon blood. That lyrium crap does nothing for him.
His personality makes a lot more sense if he's stoned off his ass the entire game.
Maybe he takes a different brand than the other Templars.
Or does a lot of Elfroot to mellow out.

Dude that **** is jacked, you can get it from most merchants for like 99 coppers a portion.
I'm talking about that raw. None of that topside diluted dust. I'm talking the pure Dust Town Sand.

Yeah the coolest!
That's why hes always executed in favor of Loghain living.

But if its already been processed it isn't straight Lyrium ![]()
Straight lyrium cannot be handled by anything besides dwarves.

He's gonna sell his entire kingdom for some lyrium.
King Bhelen for Grand Pimp of Fereldan 2014!

I knew you weren't real. I think Elfroot might be more your style.

Man you're asking too many questions. I'm smelling a snitch in here. You a Seeker Warder? You with the Divine?
We all know the Dalish keep themselves in arrows by selling alchemically processed elfroot to the locals.
Those wagons are just mobile drug labs!
I mean, who needs that much elfroot?
It grows everywhere.
It's because they produce the cheap stuff.
Can you inject it?
Since it's liquid you probably could. Maybe that's what red templars do lol

Your asking the dude with the Lambert Quote in his signature if he is with the Divine, you getting high on your own supply?

Merril: "But keeper!"
Keeper: "OI NO BACK TALK FROM YOU!: *Snorts a line of ground up deep mushrooms* "AHHHHH YEAH! WOOO! I CAN SEE THE CREATORS!"

So what is this a shake down or you looking for a pay off? I'm a business dwarf. I'm sure we can work something out here. You look the other way and I can keep pursuing my entrepreneurial endeavors.

I got a serious shipment of Enchantment coming in. You want in on this?

We'll be lucky if any kids he has aren't born with nine-heads.
Well Alistair says he never got injected with lyrium because Duncan came to him before he could complete his templar training.

You keep the Templars rolling in **** and everything is solid as a statue of a paragon ![]()
None of that red **** though, the kick is way too much hassle.

Retcon.

Quiet man, theres's a Seeker up in here! What you think he'll do if he finds out we're running mage goods too?
Retcon.
Got to love it.

Cullen : "Is that lyrium?"
PC : "Damn it cullen I thought you stopped abusing that ****"
Cullen : " This is just a weekend thing. I can quit any time that I wont. I have exams and after this I am quitting cold turkey. Just a few to get me on the road"
Got to love it.
To be fair, it didn't make any sense before.
"So what's the special technique to defeating mages? Is it another Litany?"
"No, none of that. It's quite simple really."
"What? What do I do?"
"Just drink this blue stuff."
"......"
@ Willowhugger, Geez! Your Warden was a lightweight. Mine never stirred without at least 99 bottles of the stuff ...
'Warden died one night,
Died in his bed,
Bottle of lyrium, elf root potion
By his head ...
Warden's life passed
by like a warm Ferelden day
If you listen in the Deep Roads
You can still hear Dark Spawn say
Don't you know that you are a shooting star
Don't you know that you are
A shooting star
And all the Archdemons will fear you
Just as long, as long as you are ...'
I'm reading the lyrium page on the wiki now, and I can't find any reference. Do we know if a templar can 'get clean' and get over his addiction? Or is it always fatal if they stop using?
People say a lot of things. That taint can't be cured. That tranquility is irreversible.
My guess is - addiction is a joke compared to that, but I could be wrong.
