I was attempting to fix the text color in this post to differentiate my comments from the OP's more clearly.

However, when I tried to format the color on some of the text that showed up in the default color, the site did not save the format changes.  I gave up after a few tries and decided to go back to playing DA.

I've had that problem before. It should eventually save it, though going back into the post and changing something else can sometimes reset the colour changes.
