Played it finished and hated it. I personally thought that this especially the ending has been done a ton of times. I really did not care for the games leveling system since I was able to finish it in 6 hours on the second run even though on the first try I took my time(something lieke 132 hours) I feel I wasted my money. I will not buy the next one as I cannot see how intcan be a continuation. It just seems like the game made up for bad AI(just like it was in NWN1 (except that was years ago)) by swarming you with bad gus especialy as the game progesses. The game was super predictavble and the cinematic sequences took out any tachical advantage you may have had. Aslo moron AI stands there while in the  firestorm burns them till they die.. I excpected more. Sorry. But that is just my 2 cents make of it what you will

Plus your account only shows 2 characters - a level 1 and 17. I know it isn't entirely accurate all the time, but this would seem to contradict your 130 hours and then completing it again in 6 hours.

16,000 friendly fire damage, that can't be normal. At some point you have to make the connection between your tactics determining your characters actions not whether they were standing in a fire storm. The hold command is great for setting up a large AoE attack, it's the H key. Sure, having the AI predict where you launch your fireballs and react to firestorm would be nice, but the game can only play itself so much. At some point you have to take control, adjust your tactics, do anything really, rather than becoming more and more upset at your party members for 132 hours.

Yeah, The Tasty one has a point. On my first playthrough I would charge people into infernos and fireball my own crew all of the time, deliberately, because they could take it.



Even after finishing the game with a guy who didn't care abut destroying his allies in a fight I only did 10047 FF damage. If you accidentally did 16000 FF damage, you have to be pretty effing dense.

Yeah, it isnt. Even using the console command to kill all hostiles.

What i dont understand is the OP supposedly hated the game so much, yet he devoted, according to him,  138 hours to it.

I was talking about the enemy AI. They just stood there while I cooked them all. I played for 130 house just becuase I wanted to finush the dang this so I could say I did. Im OCD that way. But I hated the fact that cinematics nagated any element of suprise. Also the the bad guys have 5000 Hp one moment and then normal HP the next(I will not say who as it would be a spoiler). I was just disapointed with the game and the ending was So predictable it not even fun I saw it coming from a mile away. I never charge into my own spells. But the enemy AI would do really stupid things. The only way Bio ware xould ofset it was to give the bos characters thousads of hit points. Does that make them human? I cant get that many hit points. Im not the only one I know of at leas 5 people at my work that traded the game without finishing it for mass effect 2( I guess thats coming out). None of them liked for the same reason. Unfortunately for me I cant trade or sell my game since its on PC. . My FF damage is not acurate on the page at least. I never hit mu guys. Seriously. Not for that much points I always withdrew so I have no idea where that total comes from. As for the second character on this account I dont even have one! So I dont know where thats from either.

as for the aregument of 132 hours...when you have OCD come talk to me. I hate starting something and not finishing it no mater how bad it is. Sorry that my opinion of the game differs from your own and you may think of it as you see fit I do not think I owe an explonation to anyone. Just stated what I though.

I'd say take a picture of your 'heroic achievements' screen where it says how long your character took to finish the game, but you will probably have an excuse.

Wait, what did you do to get 132 hours out of it? Doing damn near everything other than the more "criminal" quests, I only managed to hit 50 hours. I only got 48 on my first, bumbling, unguided playthrough. So either I'm missing 80+ hours of play, or you spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get out of rooms.

I did not charge head first into fight or drop stuff on my guys but there is no way of convincing any one of anything. I aslo will not lower myself to you level and start calling people stupid or what not. I never said you have to belive me. Shees its like i insulted your religion! I had no issue killing anything but one boss and the rest was cake but i can still hate the game. I just wanted to see how it ends. As far as the 6% damage overal to my part I have no idea where that comes from or how it is calculated. I can tell you(not that any of you belive me) that I did not drop spells on my people and that the damage on the site is inacurate.

ok ok ok, not to be offensive or totally complacent, but if this is true about the OCD, then I am sorry about the long, drawn out ordeal you had to endure.

So maybe DA:O isn't to your tastes, not anybodies fault, not even the teams who constructed it.

It only falls on the buyer to research deeper into the ARENA in which they find appealing, if it's not acceptable, keep looking.
