I cant really talk about the things that drove me nuts in the 109 hour game since I would give up spoilers

Eeeeh...just with all that friendly fire and that many deaths and denying AoEing your own team.

(It's okay. I did it a lot too until I found the handy dandy hold feature and really put a lot of detail into setting up my team's tactics).

The specific points you made against disliking it  -- cutscenes taking away tactical advantage, etc. are quite valid. I think your numbers just made people assume you were just trolling.

Well I still thing the team damage is high...but I guess its possible the way I handled cut seens if I saw them coming was to drop a ton of aoe crap on the area and then start the cut scene when it ends I would have the AOE in effect and run away see how many follow.

That's beliveable... You said you didn't even have a second chbaracter. You said that you didn't even care about the leveling system then said that the way the boss battles played out ruined the game for you. Also, u think you wasted money on a game with which you spent more than 160 hrs with? If you didn't enjoy it, why didn't you stop playing? Why did u do a second playthrough if u didn't like it for the first try?

Just to make things clear I don't have a problem with you not liking the game. It's just that your reasoning seems a little odd to say the least...

I told you I made a mistake my last save states 109 hours of play and level 20. The fact that the board still has me at lvl 17 is not my fault. The reason I played that way is beacuse..well I cant help it I really cant explain it another way not without giving out information that I dont want public. 46 injuries seems to be a lot less then some of the people whos profiles im looking at.

Even i have to agree with Sloth that 6 hours is nigh impossible. I'm not a big fan of the game for my own reasons but a speed run is going to take a little less than double the time you are talking about.

I started off on a bad foot, just one of those day ....just trust me on this. My memory does not serve me well anymore for reasons I cannot disccuss. But if I offended anyone that was not my intention. I did verify that it was 109 and change to finish the game.. I have no idea about the second Character since I never made one. I ALWAYS play a mage...its a thing with me..its weird and I rather not talk about it. I think I finished all but one quest. I just wish the bosses (if they are human) had a normal amount of HP like me, they may have a little more have btter gear and be stronger but they are human. To kite an enemy to me is poor AI on the enemys part.. Im not sure if any of you ever played EVE MMO. They intoduced and AI the fights like a person...its freeaking hard even though they have the same amount of HP as you..I wish they could do that in this game.

Also the last missions I put it on easy and plowed through everything so that shaved off at least 10 hours. Unfortunately as a mage I died a lot since greatest DPS usually gets the agro.

No problem mate, I wasn't offended at all. I just didn't understand some of your reasoning at first, but that's okay I gues, why would I have to. Sorry you didn't like the game, although I think that bosses, even if they're human, should have  higher HP, but that's just me...

Perhaps something was wronf with me strategy. Even with very powerfull armor the boses near the end were hitting me for 50% damage...well not me but my best warrior.

well, everything depends on stats. maybe u chose the wrong skills or boosted wrong stats... what was your party like? also, depends on your playstyle... let your tank get aggro, have the healer healing him and then blow them away with your insane dps as mage

The Hex line is super helpful when dealing with boss fights. Makes them take much more damage while (particularly if they deal physical damage) dealing much, much less.

Glyph of Warding is also really nice for any fight, really. I the glyph line.

I think this discussion is prolli better suited to the builds or tactics section though.

perhaps that was my issue I was an elementalis so I could do huge DPS but on a huge scale. So close combat I was virtually useless. I also did not do the blood magic thing I play my characters as if I was them(might seem stupid, but thats how I always play). So I will never play an eveil character ...hence why Morigan hated my guts I never used her. The person who dies the most was..well,. me! since I was the mage every bad guy came running after me especially after they just got hit by an AOE. so I frequently went down. Altair was my daank but he still took a ton of dmg even with the best armor. I did not have a healer persay I just had the healing vials or whatever they are called. I liked the game up to a certain point(I cannot mention it here since it would give a spoiler away) then it just got on my nerves and I changed it to easy and plowed to the end.

Why is calling someone stupid so taboo here? OP seems to enjoy saying people are hard on him but also let ya know its cool it doesn't get to him. I don't think anyone here aside from myself right now has been rude they just questioned your times which you clarified.



Playing a game you don't like for 100 hours and not liking it is stupid but i guess you justified that. Starting a second character is really stupid even though i'm sure you had reasons for it (that you cannot discuss)

Also I did not start another character so. But once again you will say im not telling the truth but you will like I stated before find any way to slander me because that just what you want. I refuse for m being rude I made my point I corrected the areas I made a mistake if you dont like ..oh well.
