From what we've seen the combat isn't hard hitting at all. In the gamescom clip the inquisitor wails on an archer with a 2 handed weapon and he doesn't respond at all. Combat looks pretty bad. But we'll see.
By hard hitting, I mean attacks, abilities, and spells have weight to them.

I didn't say it before, but the exploration looks really cool. I have a feeling I will really like that, I know I did in Skyrim. I am a little concerned over time sensitive quests hampering my ability to explore though without breaking quest chains or some other sucky penalty because I was too busy chasing a random rabbit over a hill to see a giant statue off in the distance that now I have to travel to see, despite the fact a village is gonna get pillaged if I don't go back and defend it in three minutes, lol. Well screw that village! It should have been ready for defending the moment I found it! Now they be screwed! Rawr! lol.

Im looking forward to Skyhold, Character creation, meeting my companions, exploring the world, making use of the 32 abilities the party has available to them, killing a dragon for the first time, enjoying the story being told and playing some multiplayer.

Fancy parties with stinky cheeses. ![]()
More seriously, if the videos are any indication, I will simply love the world. The landscape, the buildings, the in-world art, everything. It looks so real and so beautiful. I think the artists at Bioware are outdoing themselves, or they can realize their visions this way for the first time because of the absence of earlier technical limitations. Anyway, Thedas looks magnificent.
I will likely also like the strategic element of the game. Sending out agents, choosing where to intervene, to which faction to talk and how. Looking forward to that.
Also, customizing Skyhold. I already like the pictures (see first point) and the site.
Not that I feel likely to dislike most other features but these stand out as unusual.

Impact is based off a stat variable on the weapon, but still with every strike you see most enemies register a physical connection, even the Dragon. There's a difference between a kinetic response and stagger. The former is simply a visual touch, the latter is a mechanic, which if used gratuitously, forms the backbone of Spectacle Fighter combat like DMC or Dynasty warriors, where rapid stunlock is your primary form of crowd control.

I can only hope a secret spell is involved...The crazy amount of cheese all over Thedas.
They'll definitely like the amount of replay value in comparison to previous DA Titles, and the Skyhold is going to come in handy for a game that favors tactical prowess in its gameplay.
Nugs in extreme graphical detail. Nugs for everyone.
Me personally? I'll probably like the Otherworldly settings that would feel right at home in Planescape or Riven.

multiplayer. Bioware might be new at it and there might be some initial issues in ME3, but they make damn fun multiplayer.

The story, multiple races returning, the more varied environments. Plus being able to play it again years later and still discover new things I missed the first time around. Then trying out the tactical view and other things like that which have come back.

I really like the idea of being the ruler of the Inquisition, this time i am the one making the choices and telling people what to do. Not the other way around. I can't wait to decorate my Skyhold as well and have trials there, siting in my throne like a badass wile giving justices the the world of Thedas.

Another BioWare story to get lost in, and getting to know a new cast of characters. I have yet to be disappointed by a BioWare game, and I don't think DA:I will let me down.
