I would guess that it will be that moment in the game that really resonates with the player: falling in love with a companion, being moved by a story line, making a difference in the world, an NPC completely surprising you with a character arc, laughing out loud at some of the jokes. These moments are what made past BioWare games for me. Probably for a lot of other players as well.

granted, maker's existence, alongside that of elven deities and other immortals, will continue to be debatable, but I'm really looking for more authoritative wording on nature of fade, source of blight, plan of Flemeth and such.

Companions, of course, what else? I mean, the MOST? Yep, companions.
It's BioWare's truly uncontested, undisputed masterful constantly-good-through-their-gaming-history aspect in their games. They've always made great, or at the very least interesting characters. That's what I liked the most in Baldur's Gate 2, in Knights of the Old Republic, in Mass Effect 1/2/3, in DAO (and Awakening) and in DA2 as well. That's what I think the fans will like the most out of Inquisition, that's what I think yeah...
Speaking for myself only in this very line though, that's certainly what I will like the most in Inquisition.
