I'll most likely go with Orlesian of the top three, although it'll also depend just what falls beneath the "other" tab.

Stripper poles anyone? Nah but seriously.
Elven scouts. My inquisitor will be like

and his band of brothers.

As a lot of people have talked about, I also want to be able to add certain functional things in Skyhold that are more functional than aesthetic. Like a balkany lookout, or library where I can store my books and codexes or even a games room where I can play games with my companions.

Probably Orlesian.
It looks... nice. A bit more warm and inviting than Kirkwall or Tevinter.

I'm probably going to go with Orlesian, just because those statues are absolutely gorgeous.

I... wouldn't mind the Kirkwall look. Although I would prefer to establish a décor that says my Inquisition isn't specifically aligned to any particular group while showing they also mean business. I could see Tevinter spikes playing a bit part in that... if only because they look quite qunari as well!

It you would only listen to Josephine she would tell you that there is a political dimension to be considered ![]()
Skyhold is not just a home or a base of operations it acts as a political power base with symbolic impact.
Our Keeps may be equipped with a focus on military might, economic activity or political power and Skyhold is no different.
To decorate in a part of Thedas's design style exclsively is to align Skyhold politically to that nation of location.
So dominant decoration is unlikely to be Orlesian or Free Marches and certainly not Tevinter decoration.
Though as Haven is in Ferelden, some Ferelden decoration would be sensible, but not exclusively so.
Of course personal history will play a part, an element of the decoration could reflect your background, i.e.
- Human warrior/rogue - Free Marches decoration, possibly with Templar/Chantry trimmings
- Human mage - Free Marches decoration, possibly with Circle trimmings
- Elf - Dalish motifs
- Dwarf - dwarven paragons from house Cadash with some Carta trimmings
- Qunari - unlikely to reflect the Qun but may have some mercenary memorabilia
Beyond that a mixed decoration style is sensible with an eye to which advisor path you favour.
- If you favour militaristic, your decorations should be brutal and intimidating.
- If you favour espionage, decoration embracing that on many nations would be best to mask your intentions.
- If you favour economic, you would have the most opulent and wealthy looking decoration,
I'm looking forward to it.
On top of this Sims castle expansion,
the Dating Simulator, and
Battlefield Thedas
We even have what looks to be a mighty fine RPG.
To the holidays and beyond...

Seriously though... Are they making a Fereldan Wolf theme? Skyhold is in the Frostbacks isn't it? Would make sense for a fortress within or on the Fereldan border to have reminiscent architecture. Just saying.

I'm trying to save the world, I don't have time for interior decorating. Unless upgrades have a functional use - a crafting table or something - then I'm not even gonna bother.

I'd say it's more likely they'll make a Ferelden mabari style.

Um...maybe my poor eyes are failing me . But isn't A Kirkwall look like the chantry in DA2 ? why not just call it Templar/chantry design ?
Because chantries look different from location to location. Much of the art styles of a culture can be found in churches. Orlishian chantries don't look like Kirkwall chantries nor do they look like fereldin.

Option C...only because I am trying to erase the nightmare I still have of option A.
I'm sure if you went for decor A and you took the time to walk around Skyhold many, many times,
you'd come to appreciate Kirkwall's decorative style ![]()

D. Skyhold will become my Inquisitor's personal sexnasium!
Seriously though I think I'd like a Dwarven theme for my skyhold...or just something that relates to the other races rather than just those human chumps.
