So here's the thing. I plan on playing at least my first Inquisitor as someone in their mid-20's, to reflect my own personal lack of familiarity with the game in a believably naive, in-universe way.
Problem is, all of the romance options seem to be in their mid-30's, early 40's. Where's the representation for younger Inquisitors? I'm not trying to feel like Dustin Hoffman in "The Graduate" when it comes to relationship arcs.

Want to roleplay a youngling ? Make the Inquisitor take some time with him/herself in his/her room 
Or play gay/bi- I'm pretty sure Sera and Dorian are both solidly in their mid to late twenties. Josephine doesn't seem far from that, either.
Sera seems young, and it's difficult to tell if Dorian's somewhere in his twenties or thirties. Otherwise, yeah.

Then don't pursue a romantic relationship with any of the NPCs?
Why are people saying Solas is old, he doesn't look old at all, if anything he looks rather young but stern. I know people have this thing about citing bald guys as old, especially in the long hair community, but i don't see him that way, he could definitely be in his late 20s. The only old people to me are Blackwall and Ironbull in my opinion and i say that because of their extensive history, Cassandra to me is riding the fence, shes in her mid late 30's but she still looks incredible to me, and I don't know if we get to pick our age or skin complexion so we might not look that young ourselves. Then again technically i can see warrior or rogue human noble being youngest, as they were going to be eventually be sent off to join the templars, but i assume haven't had any formal training in being one yet so there is that. A human mage though could be old as in middle age. Elf anything could be anywhere in terms of age, same for the other races.

I don't know where the others ages come from tho. Doian, for instance, doesn't look very young to me. Well, not for 20 at least.

Man, I honestly think BioWare is being ageist. Only middle aged people are being represented. What about players younger than 25 or older than 40. There aren't any romances that appeal to their age group.

It was said Solas and Blackwall like to have 'old guy' talks about how times change and such.

A dev stated he was in his 40's sometime ago.
Though I imagine Sera, Dorian and Josie are all pretty young like the others have said.
I don't mind the cast being older. In a game, age hardly matters to me for a romance.

Er, I'd argue that Sera seems to be under 25, and Blackwall looks over 40.
I always have to chuckle every time I see one of these threads come up. Once the game comes out, I really doubt anyone is going to care about the exact age of their companions. We'll all be too busy nitpicking their clothing, their hair, their accent, every bit of dialogue....The topic of age is probably not going to be addressed much when the game launches. Why worry about age when there will be tons of other things to analyze/enjoy/complain about? 
Sera, Dorian and Josephine look like that could pass for young. Mid-20s maybe?

I suspect that the female LI's are:
Sera - early-mid 20's
Josephine - early-mid 30's
Cassandra - mid-late 30's
For the guys:
Dorian - late 20's-mid 30's
Cullen - early-mid 30's
Iron Bull - somewhere in his 30's
Solas - early-mid 40's
Blackwall - early-mid 40's
That's.....not really an unrealistic range of ages for the characters. And it's a nice change of pace from the young LI's in DA: O (where Zev was probably the oldest).

Nah, the Warden was a teenager, except for the DN, in DA:O while everyone else, except for Alistair, where in their mid-late twenties.
