Okay with Dragon age Inquisition coming fast, I have decided to buy and replay Dragon Age Origin.

But the problem is I forgot how I played the last time

So can you the brave people of this world tell me what order to the

The Main quests,Side and companion quest plus DLC

Well in the case of difficulty the wiki page probably shows the best order to do the main quests. As for the side quests just be sure to do them before starting the battle of denerim, more specifically the part where you go to redcliffe again as this is a "point of no return" (I usually try to do all the sidequests before starting the landsmeet quest just to play it safe). As for companion quests and DLC, basically just make sure to do them before revisiting Redcliffe, I don't think there's any reason to do them in a specific order (although I suggest doing stone prisionor and wardens keep early on to get shale and the storage locker quickly).

Well, there's the origin, and then there's Ostagar and then Lothering. By the time you reach Lothering, you will have Alistair and Morrigan, and possibly your Dog if you do the quest at Ostagar OR are a human noble.

After that, well, the sky's the limit. You can talk to companions, avoid them, ask them to leave, give gifts or whatnot. You'll need Stone Prisoner DLC to get Shale the golem. You can do Redcliff, Circle of Magi, Orzammar and Dalish Elves in whatever order you please.

The way I do this is I try to gather all my companions as soon as possible while maintaining cohesion to my story.

After leaving Lothering with Alistair, Morrigan, Dog, Leliana and Sten I go to the Circle first (on the way to Redcliffe which Alistair suggests to visit first), I recruit Wynne, then go to Redcliffe, solve the quest there and sidetrack to get Shale (close to the place) and then travel to Ostagar. On the way I recruit Zevran and get Oghren before heading into the Deep Roads. Then I just chill and enjoy my companions... uh... company.

As for chronology I play:

Leliana's Song (it could do you well to play it as the revered mother there is now the Divinie Justinia. Plus it happens before Origins and is about Leliana :) ).
Origins (obvious next step)
Awakening (before Amgarrak to buff yourself up)
Amgarrak (should have a good enough level and skill variety to handle the Harvester at this point. I solo-ed him on normal with my shield wielding warrior warden)
Witch Hunt (a logical conclusion to the game with the scene in front of the Eluvian)

Dragon Age 2
The order of playing DLCs doesn't really matter as they're just "stories" told by Varric to Cassandra. But I go for Mark of the Assassin first and then Legacy so I leave the more epic "story" for the last. I usually play them at the very beginning of act 3 and then finish up the game.

The chronology is pretty much consistent in this order.

I'd definitely do Return to Ostagar before the Landsmeet (probably around the time you deal with Flemeth for Morrigan - if you agree to) because I felt it added to the story and gave some reason for Loghain's paranoia, plus you get some useful items to use.

First time I played I went to the Dalish first because my Warden was Dalish so he thought he'd start with his own people, then when to Redcliffe, Circle, did Ashes quest and then finally Orzammar.    Next run I was a mage so went to the Circle first, then Redcliffe.    I usually always left Orzammar to last because it seemed to make sense to the order of doing things but I guess if you were a dwarf you might go there first.

Don't forget to return to camp after Landsmeet but before going to Redcliffe for the final time.   There are some conversations that can only take place in camp, not in Eamon's estate and I nearly missed the end of Zevran's romance because of that.    Ditto talking to Loghain if you recruit him.

I'm going with this.

Use the Wiki for the main quest. It doesn't matter as much for side quests so long as you make sure you complete them before the point of no return.

That's interesting I always find myself doing DA2 DLC  the other way around, the order I got them.

Obviously there's really no 'right or wrong' order, but I think this is the 'intended' order of the story. I say play how you want and if you want to kill the High Dragon straight out of Lothering or save it for last then do you.

Hm... this is my suggestion...

Origin... yadda, yadda, yadda... Lothering

Denerim (side missions to get familiar with combat... remember, the Warden is a rookie and needs money, experience, and supplies to boost their confidence.  You don't need to do everything, just get your feet wet... and by the Archivist's Sash :P)

Circle of Magi

Stone Prisoner

Brescillian Forest

Return to Ostagaar

Redcliffe

Urn of Sacred Ashes

Warden's Keep

Orzammar... you can leave from time to time, but once Oghren joins, stay there until the end.

Denerim/Landsmeet

Um... the rest is self explanatory I think...

I haven't played Awakening in years so I won't comment on that.

My standard order of playing things, which I changed occasionally if I needed certain skills at certain points. For instance, in my latest playthrough of DAO I pushed back dealing with Connor because I wanted Coercion 4 on my protagonist for the demon.

Anyway, here we go:

Dragon Age Origins:

(1) Origin/Ostagar

(2) Stone Prisoner

(3) Warden's Keep

(4) Redcliffe, part 1.

(5) Circle

(6) Redcliffe, conclusion

(7) Dalish Camp and Brecilian Forest

(8) Return to Ostagar

(9) Orzammar, City quests

(10) Denerim, pre-Landsmeet city quests

(11) Urn of Sacred Ashes

(12) Orzammar part 2 and Deep Roads

(13) Denerim part 2 and Landsmeet

(14) The Archdemon

Dragon Age: Awakening

(1) Prologue

(2) Kal'Hirol

(3) Wending Wood

(4) Amaranthine, city quests

(5) Blackmarsh

(6) Attack on the Mother

Golems of Amgarrak

(I don't play this with all Wardens)

Witch Hunt

(I play this with all Wardens)

I was tempted to replay Dragon Age Origins and DA:2.  But I'm worried about the gameplay.  I much preferred DA:2 gameplay to that of Origins.  I'm afraid that, after so many years, I'll find Origins just too tedious to replay.  If it weren't for gibbed, I'd never have gotten to experience Kaiden in ME3, because I simply can't bring myself to play the original Mass Effect ever again.
