ONE! Very important question that I have heard some very worrying things about....

I can assure you that one poll, panel or random group of people anywhere at any time would say get rid of the krogan. Bioware's polls and data are made up garbage just to justify their own internal decision making processes. They were just contemplating ME3 decisions and considering removing races that could be dead. So they make up this story that fans felt the same way in an effort to curb outrage. That effort will fail. If they have a lick of smarts they wouldn't dare remove a single major species.
Is this you?

Do the Krogan bother you too from a bio standpoint?
There's so much wrong with them at so many levels I don't even know where to begin.
How so?
Quarians bother me a whole lot more than Krogans biologically. (probably why if I cant broker peace, it's Geth>Quarians all the time...the Quarians are so firggin' short sighted....with their saber rattling and almost killing Shep twice...they deserve the obliteration option....okay...this isn't bio related, but their glass-cannon immune systems bother me)
And as was mentioned UT....the Quarian race could be wiped out....or at least the Flotilla was (and as was mentioned by Tali in-game......the Fleet was calling all the Quarians back from their Pilgrimages for this fight....so there could potentially only be a very few of them left)...and Tali wouldn't be there either if the Flotilla snuffs it. So it makes more sense if BW was going to get rid of a species it would be the Quarians.
Don't even have to have the Geth in that scenario.....they could write it as after the Geth were defeated and the Quarians resettled Rannok and major virus wiped them out...which wouldn't be too strange with how glass-like their immune systems are.

Pff, where to start. Don't have a lot of time so I'll make it short and staccato ![]()
Insane regeneration ability is such a costly ability that it would not lead to a large clutch size (which is also very energy costly)
Insane regeneration ability on a planet with high predation risk simply doesn't mix. Regeneration is very costly, and if most of the species die young (which is the thing of Tuchanka), it would simply not develop. The energy is better spent on reproducing to make sure the species doesn't die out.
And I'm forgetting a few things probably, but I gotta go.
