I've only done one romance per game and it's Cassandra all the way!!

I'm definitely pleased with the LIs in this game. The only one I'm not particularly interested in romancing is Cullen. The others are all interesting in various ways to me.

 

The one I'm most interested in romancing is Blackwall. Curiously enough, though, he won't be the one I'll be romancing on my first playthrough, as I'm planning on playing a very pragmatic Inquisitor who I imagine Blackwall might not see eye to eye with.

 

As I'm already up to seven planned Inquisitors and counting, though, that isn't really a problem. I'll get to Blackwall soon enough.

I guess the real results will come out when Bioware releases player statistics. I am pretty sure, Cassandra / Josephine will rank much higher in player statistics.

Do they usually release the statistics? It would be really interesting to see them.

Solas was my #1 choice for my male elfquisitor, so there's always going to be that shadow of disappointment hanging over me.  But that just means Cassandra's romance moved from my second playthrough to my first.  I'm hoping it'll end up like DA:O, where I was always sad I couldn't romance Alistair with my male Warden, but ended up liking Zevran more in the longrun.

I had to select Iron Bull since my first two favorite romances aren't available to my inquisitor. I wonder if the revealed gender gates are going to alter this poll's results from last time!

 

For future possible romances, I chose Sera, Josie, and Dorian, more for lack of choice than actual interest.

 

And sadly I selected the last response for #3; unhappy, and will affect my purchase of the game. I'll wait for it to go on sale, probably.

I mean, it kind of depends on the character I'm running; different backgrounds would provide motivations for different partners.

 

For example, as another topic by Lobs indicated, an orthodox Dalish member has some difficulty justifying a romance with a human; not only will the child be human (not passing on DNA for the clan) but humans supposedly also cause a Quickening, which is a sacrifice of your lifespan just by being nearby them.  So any character I play that is Dalish, probably going to cut out human romances entirely.

 

On a similar note, if I'm playing an Andrastian; I probably want nothing to do with a follower of the Creators or the Stone or a Qunari, just because our theologies are so different and in some places, potentially hostile to each other. 

 

That's before I even decide if my character is male, female, & their sexuality.

Cullen for me although for the next one I put I'd get to everyone eventually, except maybe Josie. There isn't anything bad about her exactly, she just seems like she may be a little bland going off what I know so far.

Cassandra will be my first and Canon romance. Then I will romance Josephine. Then, I might try out female protagonists.

lol... the second set of numbers is from a multiple choice question about which LIs we plan to romance in the future.  So it's likely a percentage per voter.  Like, 47.5% of voters plan to also romance Blackwall at some point... xD

It's certainly anecdotal but I still find it interesting the huge disparity between the small number of people who chose Josephine as their most preferred romance (likely first game choice) and the huge number of people who plan to romance her eventually.

I'm torn between Blackwall and The Iron Bull. Blackwall was my main pick before every other LI started getting revealed except for him. I stopped gushing over him so I wouldn't be so disappointed when we found out he was unavailable. Now that's he's in PLUS Bull, I don't even know. D: For the first time there's these manly, older gentlemen who aren't just "the untouchable mentors". *evil laughter* At least I know IB doesn't have a dead wife, and Blackwall has probably avoided real commitment to anything besides the Grey Wardens.

I think maaaaybeeeee Blackwall wins a verrrry small sliver over TIB. Ugh, I'm going to have to do two playthroughs at once. :[
