C'mon now. Lucrosians are natural born hustlers. They sell ice in winter and fire in hell. Profiting off of the lyrium trade during a war between the Circle and the Templars is child's play.
I realize that you're at least half joking, but that's assuming either group has the money to buy it and that neither will simply take it by force.
I'd like to think that my Lucrosian could sell salt to a slug, raid to a bug and all that, but the mage-templar war doesn't appear to support a comfy, totally unlawful apostate mage lyrium operation. hehe.
And the real money-makers in the Lucrosian fraternity are the formari, specifically the tranquil for their enchantments - their work supports the entire circle of magi. So the best thing to do IMO would be to get on with the Inquisition, allow it to acquire lyrium for enchanting etc. make some coin from that, be as involved in the activities and politics of the Inquisition as they can to forge worthwhile ties, and plan from there - hopefully securing a soft landing for themselves after the breach is closed.
I don't really advocate using the tranquil beyond this, however. As tranquility can be reversed, it should be. In a new or reformed circle, mages can certainly find other ways to earn money.
