I'm seriously considering that spec on my first warrior, but we'll see what happens... there are a few things I would need to consider before I decided on that, and most of it is stuff I'd have to let the character determine as I roleplay...

It was an insanely useful one to employ back in DA 2.

 

But things have changed, i will need to check out the skills, bonuses and abilities that come with every spec probably before investing in one.

I figured it was probably because they didn't have any skills that were desirable for an employer. Especially since slavery is so highly practiced in Tevinter.

Like I was saying a page or two back. Slavery in Tevinter is a lot more comfortable than implied. The down side is that if your master is threatened by another mage your blood might be on the line.

many just do bloodletting an all live happy..it is not profitable to kill slaves and have a chances to be executed and betrayed by other magisters who would have info for deaing with rival
