Those I'll totally buy.
But EA doesn't do that. They don't even do regular sales on DLC.

Personally i'm not opposed to season passes as they do in some cases result in cheaper dlc for the pass holder. I'm sure if one is on the cards ill purchase it.

Would you want a season pass, or should I bugger myself in the most creative way you can imagine?
Well, I don't know if I'd go that far.
I personally wouldn't buy a season pass if they offered one, though; Bioware's DLC has always been a bit hit-or-miss with me in the past, so I'd rather just buy individually as it comes up after I've had time to decide if it's something I want.

My favorite season passes are those available after all the DLC has come out.

They actually do that?
I've never heard of such a thing (unless this is one of those subtle Maria-flavored jokes...).

Yeah Bioware dlc has always been rather... Random in quality, I do love the Mass Effect 3 dlc but it was hell on my billfold. I just hope that a season pass is possible, it would make DAI dlc much more worth however much they want me to spend.

I would certain welcome a Season's Pass option, but unfortunately they've already said they're not going to...

It was never about to happen. If we're going to have free MP DLC and a couple story DLC for the campaign, it doesn't really justify a season pass.

I suppose you're right, bugger all.

I am caught between the desire to know what my flavor is like and the feeling that such discussion is not appropriate for a public message board.
But yes, many season passes continue to be available after the DLC is released.

Never mind. I misunderstood your original post. I thought you were referring to releasing a Season Pass after all DLC has launched. ![]()

Well, I'd definitely buy a season pass for DAI, since I plan on getting any story DLC that will come out and getting to save a few bucks from the whole thing sounds like a good deal to me. But like others have said, EA doesn't look like it's going to do that for any of its games.

There will be a season pass.
EA wouldn't pass up the chance to have people pre-order DLC.

Again, it wouldn't work with free MP DLC on the table. A Season Pass by definition needs to be comprehensive, including most if not all future DLC for a game.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will not have a season pass, or the concept or pre-purchasing DLC before it has ever been designed. This idea doesn't really work for us, as we prefer to be able to change our plans based on how DLC and story concepts are received by the players.

Well, that's the best possible rationale not to do it! Good on you guys.

I assume you guys are hesitant and don't want to get your hopes up, in case it has the same reaction as it did for DA2? I recall hearing that with how DA2 went, it was a big reason the expansion was cancelled as Bioware kind of lost their desire to continue working on it.

Not being locked into a season pass contract perhaps gives them more freedom as developers.

If Dragon Age Origins had been designed for a Season Pass it would have been something like...
Episode One: Origin to Ostagar
Episode Two: Red Cliff and the Circle of Magi
Episode Three: Orzammar and Brecilian Forrest
Episode Four: Haven and the Landsmeet
Episode Five: The Battle of Denerim

Good. Besides, it sucks paying for DLC packs you may not enjoy.

Something that's has been trending in the gaming world lately, is a season pass that gives people access to dlc at reduced price, a week or two early, or completely free of charge. My question is whether you as a fan of Dragon Age, and more likely than not someone who (most likely) has purchased a season pass for one of your other games, do you want one for DAI? Perhaps it could be packaged with the Deluxe edition, or could be purchased at a flat rate on XBL, PSN, or on Origin? I personally would love to have come with the Deluxe (provided it exists) as I make little money, and usually when I make extra money I spend it on other games, movies, what have you; however if DAI had a deluxe edition I would be able to justify buying dlc at reduced price, or (here's hoping) for free. Would you want a season pass, or should I bugger myself in the most creative way you can imagine?
If there is a down vote function I would down vote this. Enough with this Call of Titanfalls: Battlefield Warfare s***.

What about the gameplay after post story ending, you have confirmed that the player is free to roam after the main story have ended, will there be locations that have any chance for season and day and night system?

Oh please, as if selling a package of several products in a bundle was an invention of a couple prolific shooter games.
Just in case the etymology is lost on you, the season pass comes from sports, where people could buy an all-season ticket at a discount compared to buying them all seperately. And just as with yet-to-be-released DLCs, none of those fans who purchased those season passes had a guarantee to like all the matches they'd see.
Get your hate sorted out, just because you don't like some games doesn't mean everything associated with those, no matter how loosely that connection is, deserves that generalization of malcontent.

season passes are more for people who know they're going to buy everything anyway.Good. Besides, it sucks paying for DLC packs you may not enjoy.
No one would be obligated to buy a season pass and could still pick and choose.
BioWare don't wish to be constrained by being obligated to produce X amount of content due to a season pass and I can respect that.
For me a season pass would have been good value because I'll end up getting any DLC produced anyway. Well maybe not skin packs which are generally not included in Season passes anyway.
