Since the Acolyte is practically weightless, you're definitely better off with 3 points in Throw instead of speccing into passive 6A.

It's just there in case I plan to slap another weapon on her, but I probably will since it gets a bit awkward when you're trying to use throw and she's not throwing Throw. :-/

I forgot about the Power Efficiency armour mod. Equip that and replace the ULM with smart choke and you'd still have the same cooldown.

Why is a ULM Shuriken lighter than not having a secondary at all? Does it really put the gun into negative weight or is that one of Kalence's weird glitches?

Most characters have a 30% natural weight capacity. Voluses have a natural 15% weight capacity. Since a Shuriken only weighs 20% at X, it doesn't affect the recharge speed bonus bar. The SMG ULM decreases SMG weights by 90%, and since the Shuriken is only 20%, it doesn't decrease your natural weight capacity because its weight has ruled out by the SMG ULM.

Wow, it's amazing how much I don't know after 850 hours. Weapons that weigh less than nothing, the true definition of space magic.
I'd actually put ULM Shuriken on everything if I didn't need that weapon slot for Acolyte/Scorpion to kill phantoms.

The only disadvantage of this build is to not have the Smart Choke on the Claymore, but one can't have his choke and shoot it.

The SMG ULM V rules out all SMGs' weight even if the SMGs are at level I. It's a great tool, and it would benefit other weapon types if it were 90% for the other ULMs.
The Geth Jugg has a natural weight capacity of 75% and can have up to 135% of weight Capacity before it starts affecting his Recharge Bonus.

It wouldn't been neat if there had been a gear that gave a modest encumbrance boost, although I guess that probably overlaps too closely with the recharge gear.

I'm on PC, so I can confirm that the SMG ULM mod is indeed great on heavy shotguns and assault rifles.
