I'm not sure how the Dwarf thing will work with the fade :/

But, my first character's probably going to be a mage. Which would potentially be all kinds of fun with the Herald of Andraste thing, depending on what sort of stuff happens to her. Probably think to herself something along the lines of 'No-one understands this fade stuff too well, maybe it's a god and maybe it's not. But since there's not a whole lot to go on either way I'm just going to write it down as a spirit I don't understand.'

Would she object to being called it? Probably more a kind of amused tolerance and caution. My characters tend to be fairly close to how I think I'd react to situation unless I'm doing a 'see all the options' run. I'd be cautious about contradicting people who thought I was divine because I don't want to get burned at the stake. And I'd be cautious about encouraging people to believe it because I don't want to get burned at the stake :P

It might turn into a 'People are going to burn me anyway ;_; So I'd best use this to swing as much power behind me as I can just to stay alive.' kind of thing though. Along the lines of Talyrand (I think it was) :

"Hear that? We're winning."
"Who are 'we'?"
"I'll tell you in the morning."

(Paraphrasing slightly, can't remember the exact wording)

Your physical body enters the Fade in game. Even if it wasn't dwarves have been into the Fade in DA:O and DA][.

Thanks to my Warden. there's a thriving population of Andrastrian Dwarves.

Mostly Casteless.

"What has the Stones and Ancestors ever given us? Let's try the Burned Human Wench."

What do templars and dwarves have in common?

They both like to get stoned.

Yeah, my first Inquisitor will go with the flow in that regard.  He'll be religious and think the Maker had something to do with him surviving the Veil Tear and gaining the power to stop it but he's not going to be professing that it was Andraste that saved him in the Fade as it is questionable on who or what the glowing figure that saved the Inquisitor is.

Now I'm picturing sarcastic Hawke going "If the Maker wanted the Breach closed, why didn't He in His celestial majesty attend to it Himself, instead of being a slacker and outsourcing the job?"

If I cant have a statue of myself and become a paragon in Orzahmmar then I'll riot and open up the veil there.
