I began to worry about this since I just learned that you have to be online to play Destiny on PS4, so the thing is this: I am completely offline on my Playstation 4 and I would like to hear from the developers or someone who knows, if this game will require you to be online to play the single player campaign or any online activation of any kind or if you can just pop in the game disk and play it, even if I am completely offline?

You can play offline, but you'll be using the default world state.

there's at least 2 or 3 other threads, exactly like this, maybe instead of ps4 they are asking for another system, but its still basically the same question. yes you can play the game offline, the only problem is if your offline for the entirety you won't get to make your world state before you play, you might also miss out on dlc and multiplayer if you play offline, thankfully multiplayer isn't necessary unlike mass effect 3's multiplayer which affected single player. and you won't upload your info back to the keep for future dragonage games.

Unless you want to use the Keep, you do not need to connect to the internet.
