I am quite adorable. We don't need a religious organization to stop them. We need a united Imperium. Not one dictated by false faiths.

>Preaches about freedom from religious oppression

>Supports an oppressive magocracy

Love the hypocrisy.

I see, but don't think the Inquisition will get the authority to call Exalted Marches.

I will do everything in my hand to make that oppresion tool called the Chantry fall, and the same goes for the Templar order.

My MageQuisitor as the Herald of Andraste is going to probably be their version of Martin Luther.

I hope we have the option of nailing a bunch of letters on the wall of the Grand Cathedral.

I think the whole point of Dragon Age Inquisition is that, either you become the next Andraste and create a zelous religion, or you don't and let thd world fall to barbarous cults. So easy choices :D !

You act as if their opinion of us or ours of them matters at all here. It doesn't. We need to fight the Qunari to survive. Then bring "monsters" is irrelevant.

The Imperium got kicked around pretty badly in the Qunari Wars. What makes you think that the southern nations of Thedas would just give in to Tevinter? There would be some nasty wars. And at the end of the day, it would weaken the continent, leaving it vulnerable to the Qunari.

One also can't say, based on the evidence we currently have, that the Chantry is false.

What is this fear of Qunari? I get they almost conquered thedas thats fact but stockpiling converts, and magical munititions seems very reminesent of the cold war. A war of idealogies and fear

My "canon" DA2 run basically had Hawke ambivalent about the Qunari vs. Chantry.

Both of them would step on the Mage.

Both of them would step on those who believed differently.

Both of them sucked.

Didn't Sten pretty much tell us in DA:O that the Qunari were planning on coming back?  Invasion is not an idle fear.  Also, the Qunari philosophy does not allow for variation or argument... the only choices are conversion, death, flight, or lobotomization.  Since those are the only possible outcomes if the Qunari win, it's better to be on the safe side, I think.

That's ridiculous.  The Qunari are too dangerous to forget about just because they haven't done anything big recently.  Their technology is more advanced than any nation in Thedas, and they have successfully defeated any attempt to even scout their homeland of Par Vollen.  To ignore the Qunari threat is simply irresponsible.

The threat will be ignored by some as long as doing something about it involves working within the established power structure.

again i fully understand the situation and it irresponsible to ignore them. Since qunari wars the chantry's zealots(not blaming chantry just certain extremists) have antagonize them causing minor conflicts. I get the qunari are a very dangerous threat but again acting like all of them wish war is a bit rash. Look at tallis she gives a alternate view of qunari life. And we've only seen warriors and the destructive elements of their way of life

Well even if the chantry falls the people of thedas still have the religion itself to unit them. And if that dosent work they have their fear of the qunari to unit them.

Yes, well, I'm hanging around with a Qunari spy, a sexy Orlesian assassin, a Apostate Witch of the Wilds, and some Templars so who am I to talk?
