I wonder if only bad spirits feel attracted into meatspace. It could be interesting to see simple-minded spirits of honor and justice grandstanding and trying to rally panicked peasants into a glorious charge against demons.

Spirits have no interest in going to Thedas,though.

As stated, spirits have little interest in going through the Veil, their curiosity is usually stated by creating dreamscapes. 

 

Interesting thought occurs, though. What if the Breach is like a vacuum, it sucks anything through that gets close to it, whether it wants to or not.

That would make them even more dangerous, although demons might be reluctant to visit them

I dunno if they'd willingly enter the mortal realm but I could see them turning up in areas that have been overtaken by the breach.

 

Doubt they would be inclined to provide help that went beyond not killing us, unless the virtue they aspired to compels them to do so.
