I saw on the Mass Effect Wiki that L3-X are implants "installed in an
unsuitable candidate." However, I could find no mention of these
implants in the game or elsewhere. Anybody have info on what that is?
Maybe mentioned in a playthrough with a non-Biotic Shepherd (like an
Infiltrator) who chooses a Biotic bonus talent (say, Singularity)? I am
just curious about it.
Anybody find a mention of L3-X implants?

I think they're mentioned in one of the biotic cult missions in ME1.

L3's are technically the top of the line implants form ME1. You, if your playing a biotic, are assumed to have it. Kaiden uses the L2 implants, which cause all sorts of crippling side effects. He makes mention, if you ever bothered to explore his character, that they spike a lot higher then the L3 implants. Except for yours, of course.

L2s and L3s were mentioned in the first game, but never L3-x to the best of knowledge.
Adepts in ME2 have L5-x implants though, maybe that's what you're thinking of?

I wonder what's stronger; L5 implants, or the spikes from L2's? I also wonder if we'll hear anything about L4 implants (not necessarily something special, but just something like that they're the most common nowadays, and that L5 is still very rare because of its cost).
