I think it's more he's a pale-skinned brunette (and the same hairstyle) than an actual resemblance, but he didn't look much like his dad, either, imo.
But yes, I would happily remain single in DAO if dear Nathaniel was romanceable in Awakenings.
Actually, Nathaniel has Zevran's hairstyle rather than Loghain's IIRC. I thought he did look sort of like his dad - something about the small eyes and thin lips - but the resemblance was admittedly pretty vague.
I greatly enjoy romance content in general, but I can't help but feel that it would seem shoehorned in if added to an expansion. It's just so brief, and there are far fewer opportunities to build approval. It just doesn't seem like it would fit. Building friendship alone can feel a wee bit rushed.
I just have a thing for Simon Chadwick's voice. If he voiced an LI, more likely than not, that would be my first choice.
