That is assumption. We don't actually know.

I would presume we will learn more about Andraste, but we don't actually know if we will learn anything new about her.

I think we are going to be learning a lot about elven lore, so i wonder if we will see how the elves of old felt about andraste.

Personally I feel the less we know about Andraste the better, she retains her power and mystery if she stays behind the scenes

Interesting that she had many children. I'm guessing the inquisitor (no matter the race) is descendent of Andraste :-/

Impossible for elves, unless Andraste adopted some of her children.

The prologue of the game (a Chantry conclave) takes place at the Temple of Sacred Ashes.

Presumably, something (whether it's old or new is anyone's guess) will be said about Andraste.

The Dalish say their ancestors saw Andraste as a secular war leader. Keeper Gisharel wrote, "You will hear tales of the woman Andraste. The shemlen name her prophet, bride of their Maker. But we knew her as a war leader, one who, like us, had been a slave and dreamed of liberation. We joined her rebellion against the Imperium, and our heroes died beside her, unmourned, in Tevinter bonfires."

Yes i know XD i'm just saying i want more lore. like maybe diaries of dalish scouts working in the exalted march, or the feelings of dalish slaves as her army marched through.

One of the preliminary titles of DA3 was apocrypha, so I'd imagine we'll be seeing more lore regarding the early chantry and andraste herself that the Chantry hid away.

Its almost looking like Andraste is similar to the inquisitor: A nobody blessed with powers uniting people against one common enemy.

Until you consider that Andraste was his bride. Not quite sure Bioware wants to into the whole God was gay-married to 'her' prophet thing [or god is a tranny thing if the Maker only looks female but actually isn't].

I wasn't trying it to imply you insulted anyone, sorry if it came across that way. Was just pointing out that's a whole new can of worms that is probably best left un-opened.

Trust me, you're fine. Postulating that maybe the Maker is female hardly is an insult against the LGBT community, in my opinion.

Joan of Arc, actually.

One of the things that most disappointed me about the World of Thedas lore book (I'm really not a fan of the editing of that book in general) was that it completely omits any mention of Andraste as a slave; it's so puzzling, I'm left wondering if it's something they actually changed in the lore.

That seems to be an incredibly important dynamic in the story of Andraste (was she receiving divine messages, or was she really just a former slave returned to exact revenge on her captors), but her section in the book is an almost literal Joan of Arc adaptation that has her hearing God's voice as a young girl and leading her holy armies out to spread His message.

So who knows what we might learn about Andraste in the future; who knows if what we've "learned" about her in the past is even still true.
