This is a brothel.

 

I feel brothels in games only distort and distract. There was an article recently about this in Spain. Due to the crisis, there are two distinct groups of prostitutes: nationals and foreign. The foreign ones are overwhelmingly trafficked and kept in debt so they cannot quit. The nationals are former secretaries, clerks, retail workers, etc. that got laid off with the financial crisis and had no other way out.

 

So knowing this, I go to The Blooming Rose and speak with Jethann, and I just think it's insulting. For shame, to know what brothels are like and to see them depicted like this.

It depends on the place+culture, some brothel's in olden times were akin to luxurious mansions, it depends on the level of funding.

 

Jose: "Inquisitor we still need to decide on the inquisition's budget"

 

Inquisitor: "Put it all in the brothel"

 

Jose: "What?"

 

Inquisitor: "You heard me, if you want me to stop the breach i need to fill a few of my own first...For practice sake"

Being able to put scars/change your face proportions middle-game( i am more for putting scars/tattoos on your characters face ) is definitely awesome, I cant count how many times i changed the face of my Hawke in DA:2

No we need a mix of a fighting pit+drinking+gambling+prostitutes, the magical mirror is hidden in the brothel, just ask the madame to surprise you .

Nevada is great, for about a week at a time....  spent a month in vegas for work, it gets boring real quick.

 

Tell me about it, fucks up your internal clock too, i miss the black windows though .

Ditto, would make playing a race conscious Elf/Qunari/Dwarf fun, the breach may end up encompassing all of Thedas though....Oh well we all need to make sacrifices and booty>saving the world.

Yeah after a year or so if you go into the sun with your eyes uncovered the result is this

My hardcore Dwarven Templar will use them if there are Dwarven ladies at their establishment. And if taking lines of the lyrium to the dome is allowed, preferably off the assets of said Dwarven ladies. Inquisitors got to unwind too you know.

DA2: right, hmmm...be more careful this time...i'll go for...this one! Oh...wait a minute....CRAP ITS A MAN!!!!

 

So if there IS a brothel in Inquisition (which i hope, because it adds realism to what is essentially a medieval fantasy world), i will hope i will not be tricked again.

 

As for names, could just call one in orlais...'The Game'
