Multiplayer does not affect the single player game at all.

It is unconnected (other than in theme).

I'm not a fan of multiplayer in single player games,especially if it has achievements/trophies that are multiplayer only. I do like that the characters are actual ones,not make your own avatar really does make the multiplayer feel role playing-ish. Most likely will if I need to get a platinum. I feel like such a sell-out.

ME3 was the first time I really enjoyed a multiplayer. It became surprisingly addictive once I'd finished the campaign several times and was waiting around for single player DLC to come out.  I will try it for DAI but it may take a while to get around to it.

I will most likely have the same experience I had with Mass Effect 3. Played single player a ton, but I did play multiplayer every now and then. The multiplayer looks a lot better in DA:I so I will most probably spend more time in multiplayer than I did in ME3. But single player will always be the place I spend the most time in.

I'm not big into MP, but if I can get my friend to get a PS4 and DA:I, I will definitely give it a go.

If its as good as ME3 Multiplayer (which was great).....yes i will play quite a bit of MP.

I'll try it but whether I continue will depend on if I can get certain rewards.  Hated the random chance in ME3 never got new characters and rarely got new weapons or upgrades for the ones I was using, no matter how many packs I bought so pretty much stopped trying.

I will try it, but as it will likely have very little story and little exploration, I doubt it will hold my interest. Fun combat is nice, but I don't find it addicting. I like that it is co-op though. And I think keeping it completely separate from the SP is the best idea.

Absolutely. 

I'm not usually a multiplayer kind of person, but it doesn't look too bad from what I've seen.
I have several friends all getting the game with plans for MP also, so I won't have to deal with 
any of the randoms online with horrid attitudes. (always a plus)

And actually, after the reveal of MP the marketing focus has pretty much been 100% on single player.

I'll play it a time or two to check it out, but I'm not a fan of combat - it's the story-line and questing that I am after - so I expect it will be like ME3 for me and just sit there disregarded for the most part.

Can't wait for DAMP!!! I am stoked about DAI, but really I am hoping DAMP is at least as engaging as MEMP was. If so, this one purchase will do me for like the whole of 2015.

Of course I will. Why wouldn't I? The ME3 multiplayer was fun and this looks fun as well. I have friends who plan on getting the game and I look forward to playing Dragon Age with them as a team. Unless it turns out as bad as Tomb Raider's multplayer, I don't see any reason not to play it. However, I will definitely be playing single player a lot more than multiplayer.

I will definitely give MP a try. The fact that we actually play agents of the inquisition is the main draw for me.

I didn't like it when they first announced that ME3 would have a multiplayer, but I came to like it when I actually got to play it.
(Still don't like how you have to play MP to get the best tier SP ending though.)

So I'm probably gonna play MP for this game as well.

I'll play it, but it wont be serious, if i cant/dont find ppl who likewise just want to have fun and it's just full of....well you know the types, then i wont be staying long unless there a option to solo it all
