I would love to try it. The multi-player looks awewome.  Unfortunatly I have a slow internet connection. Multi-player is only over the internet. At times I buffer a lot when watching an HD video. Wouldn't work well. I am sure that I am not alone in this.

A pity MP is not cross-platform. I simply have nobody to play with  :?

In ME3MP I exclusively played with random people in quick match - they were mostly super.

I expect the randoms in DAMP will be equally fascinating...

I'm gonna try it. If it's awesome like Mass Effect 3's, I know I'll be playing it a good bit. However, the combat in DA has always been fairly weak and boring so I probably won't get into it. I'm reserving judgement though.

Not gonna bother with the multiplayer if no one I know plays it.

Absolutely not - really don't enjoy MP (and there's always that worry at the back of your head, as a woman, that you're going to get grief, sadly, but that's a conversation for another day).

As a bit of an introvert, with a job that means I spend a lot of time having to be gregarious and cheerful around people, I like the solitude of single-player when I've gone home in the evenings!

I'll mostly be doing SP, but I will at least try MP.  Who knows.  I might love it and play it more than I expect to.

Yes, I do.  I played the crap out of ME3's multiplayer and it was a blast.  Though I would request that people are not so silent in this one.

Totally understand your second sentence, (wrong gender to emphathise with the first sentence :D ) and this is why a few of us have started a group specifically for people who may want to play DA Multiplayer, but are slightly anxious about the social aspect. We want the group to be about having fun and enjoying DAMP, not who has the highest score or bullying people into playing a certain way. Check out my signature below.

After I finish my first single player playthrough, I'll give it a try to see what it is like but other than that, I'm not going to touch it.

From what I see on that poll, it looks like most people feel the same way or aren't going to play it at all.

I'm going to try it after I finish story mode. If I like it, I will keep playing multiplayer every now and then. If I love it, Dragon Age will become my life.

MP is always a hard sell for me.  Regardless of the game, my interest in multiplayer modes is always short lived as I almost always find it too repetitive and too much of a time sink.  While I do hope that DA:I proves me wrong, I'm not going to hold my breath.

My biggest concern is that the multi-player mod is going to be too interconnected to the story, AND I'm going to dislike it.

If what I've seen and heard of it is in any way accurate, I'm gonna be on it like white on rice.

Not sure if I'm going to be playing it from day 1, since I have all but full shedule around launch, and I'd like to concentrate on the story campaign. Also, I am about 110% positive the MP voice chat is going to be full of spoilers around the time the European release rolls around, and I'm trying to avoid them as best as I can (which I am already incredibly bad at, apparently).

It's like deja vu with ME3...fought hard against it, to no avail, obviously...and, here we go again. Sod it!

My son had to play ME3's so I could see Shepard breathe. Oh, for the love of the Maker, I hate MP.

In my opinion, MP is for men, well boys really, who never grew up.

As well, it likely means yet another missing platinum trophy in my arsenal. C'est la vie.

I was really on the fence for a while because I usually play games by myself but then the idea came to me that I could make a shindig out of it I figured why not?

No. I would only do multiplayer if my girlfriend and I could play together, but we're on different platforms (she's on PS4 and I'm on PC).

I've been playing online- multi-player in variety  of games and I really can't say that I have ever had anyone give me problems about being a woman or engage in offensive (sexual) language with me.   I've had them give me a ton of crap when I played bad but that is expected no matter your gender.

I'll stick with the SP campaign.  I don't enjoy MP and I'm generally much too nervous to be in that sort of environment: seems I have virtual agoraphobia as well as the RL type.

After reading the news on this of course I am ! Along with everyone I know who plays, 5 people out of my friends will now buy this game due to that added feature. While un-doubly we will play the single player, the MP is ME3 is still played by us today. & btw op, you putting this thread in scuttle is the same thing as putting in MP and not trying to get a bias result, the fact is MP still thrives in ME3 and if DA:I lives up the fun game play it will be around for a long time to come.  While I look forward now to the single player (it took allot of convincing on bioware's part I can tell you) , the MP will be a beacon of hope in the future when other games get dry.

I dont plan to play Multiplayer at all.

The first Time they officially announced it, I was kind of shocked. Anyone who has played Mass Effect 3, knows that you must play the Multiplayer Part to have all Choices available for the Endgame, as you have to gather some additional Warfare Points.

I decided not to Pre-Order DA:I, until we have a 3rd Party Word, that we will have all Single Player Decisions available to us, without the need to play the Multiplayer Part. I know Bioware has already said, the MP Part is completely optional. But thinking about the Stuff they screwed up in the Past as EA has rushed them, to make some quick Money and as Bioware is now owned for a longtime by EA...

On November 18, we will know more. So I am sure I still can Pre-Order until November 19 here in Europe.
