Electric Hammer only!
That's the same thing Weyrloc Guld said, and look what happened to him.

But that was scripted, that don't count, and he didn't have the Ban Hammer. All he had was Warp and Barrier. :-/

Ha! and since when did a puny vorcha get the quads to question a Krogan!...my fists are all that i need but the acolytes when i wanna get frisky with them banshees
If you want to get frisky with Banshees take a Claymore. If you want to get frisky with... well, anything... take a Claymore. Leave the silly toy pistols for salarians or asari.

One thing I forgot to mention is that Warlord's backhand melee works differently to other krogan backhands. If you hit an enemy with it from maximum range it will stagger them but do no damage (this "maximum range" bug does not affect hammer slam or 3-hit combo), but if you backhand them from anything less than full range it will not only do damage to your target, but is also does AOE damage to other enemies standing next to you.
In other words, if you barely miss an enemy and end up right behind them it will still hit them and any friend of theirs that are standing next to them. This allows you to be a bit more sloppy with warlords backhand than other krogans, though at the expense of needing to calculate "distance to target" more accurately.
Sometimes I feel that staggering, but not damaging isn't just krolord's thing. I play pretty much melee kroguard sometimes and it happens at least several times per match.
Although it looks like it has more to do with enemy position (happens often when enemy is standing against a wall and is protected) rather than with innate charging melee issues.

True enough but it feels kinda besides the point when I've got a bigass hammer on my back and i'm having to wait forever for it to cooldown. The claymore is awesome and is my favourite setup with the krogan soldier/sentinel and the asari huntress but in this case using a lighter weapon say the Wraith lets you have a much faster gameplay where you can use your powers a lot more frequently.

Acolyte. It has the combined advantages of being really light, tremendously effective on the Warlord, and looks so totally ridiculous that your team's characters will all walk around the map with their jaws hanging open. ![]()

You're absolutely right when grinding Biotic / Electric Hammer CP is the point. Wise Krogan, however, know that N7 & CP scores are nothing, and that being cool and stylish is everything. They've also discovered that most enemies do not deserve the Hammer's Honor - a simple nod or backhand is sufficient to remove those fools from the equation.
The importance of high morale should not be underestimated. It's a crime against Kroganity to dress proud and fearsome warriors in pink, and it's beyond evil to allow Cerberus Troopers to make jokes about the size of their gun manhood.
If scientific, aesthetic, theological and physiological reasoning aren't convincing enough one can still show some compassion and give this big guy the big gun he deserves.

Tactical Cloak (with power damage evo rank 6b)
Flamer
Inferno Grenades
That would be a fun kit to play

No, the Krogan Infiltrator wouldn't have any Tactical Cloak. Krogan "infiltration" doesn't involve hiding or being sneaky, but having so much firepower nobody can stop you. So, my Krogan Infiltrator has Inferno Grenades, Incinerate and... Biotic Hammer!

I think Krogan would like the weapons from Gears of War. Melee omniblade? Hell with that, we have melee OMNI-CHAINSAW!
