I've seen it said that we get casual clothes for when we're at our base, but will our companions? Some of them wear pretty bulky armor. If I have to, I'll create some custom "clothing" for them to wear around our base in the armor creation, but I'd really like to know if they're already going to have clothes to lounge around in. Thanks!

This is a terrible idea that undermines the characterization of these companions.

That...makes no sense.

People have already forgotten the glory that was David7204 our lord and savior from all things unheroic

I hope so. All throughout ME and DA2 I kept looking at some of my companions in their armors in my ship or in their homes, thinking, Wow, do these people ever really relax? It broke my immersion quite a bit.

I like this idea, it's a mechanic I wish DA2 had, it would be nice if we could craft home outfits not just for them but for the quizzy too.

It would be a cool addition that would add to the atmosphere. It isn't something that is going to be break the game if it isn't included, but it would serve to make the characters feel a bit more like real people. Conversations with companions in your keep would also seem more natural if they weren't in heavy plate 24/7.

I remember him.
On topic, that would be an interesting idea. It would certainly enhance the atmosphere.

Dear Maker I hope so--I just finished another run through of DA:O and the entire pre-final battle scene all i could think was 'why are you all still in armor? you're supposed to be resting. Alistair you're going off to do the do with Morrigan wearing 50+ lbs of plate THIS MAKES NO SENSE'
....Yes, casual clothes for companions would be a very good idea

I would love this, but I don't expect it. Maybe I'm just crazy but I also want the option to wear casual clothes outside of the base. Maybe I just wanna take a stroll or hang out with my inquisition buddies outside of the base. *Sigh* yeah, it's not gonna happen.

I wondered this also. As long as we get to choose our Inquisitor's SkyWear (patent pending), I will be fine.

Oh yes please this would be a great idea . I liked Hawks casual wear when they were at home , lets give some to everyone ! I can understand the armor when the are on the road in shops and stuff but in Skyhold at their tavern might look odd lol!

That reminds me of the movie Black Knight. Specifically, when Martin Lawrence's character creates his own uniforms with "SkyWalker" logos on them, LOL.

I don't know how the Iron Bull gets more casual than a completely bare chest. A c0ck sock?

For some reason, when i scrolled through comments on this thread an image of Iron Bull cooking in the kitchens butt naked but for a frilly apron sprang to mind.
Having said that, yes, Casual clothing for party members would be sweet
