Whether you believe the Maker, a spirit or the lyrium node in the walls of the temple imbued the Ashes with their healing powers, the fact remains that the source of said power still exists and is unaffected by the defilement of the Ashes. That power is responsible for her resurrection.

nah the source of her resurrection is in the pants of her fans

I actually wanna see a fan comic where Leliana intricately and tactfully fakes her head falling off in the span on .2 seconds with the Warden right in front of her.

About Leliana - she will attack you if you defile ashes, no? How could she use them to heal herself if they were destroyed?

Only possible option would be that she faked her death/a spirit possessed her.

Or that the Maker exists.

Checkmate, atheists.

4) Everything u had heard about Cullen are rumours. PS: I can totally get it for that 'running wild and becoming crazy' but not the demoted from knight commander to knight captain thingy.

any more?

Well Bioware did say the epilogue slides are considered rumors

1c: You can't defile the Ashes without taking a pinch of them first to cure Arl Eamon, so the magic of the uncorrupted Ashes kept her alive.

4b: Cullen was a Knight-Lieutenant in Origins and was promoted to Knight-Captain in DA2. He was never a Knight-Commander, that was Greagoir.

1c The Warden has the uncorrupted ashes, not Leliana.

4b. Annulling the Circle results in an epilogue slide where Cullen succeeds Greagoir as Knight-Commander.

It would take time for the dragon blood to completely soak the ashes. That's if they even take away the healing powers, like Kolgrim thought. Not to mention that the mountain full of lyrium might be the cause of the ashes' powers, which would be unaffected. As you say, she could have faked her death. There is also the possibility, however unlikely, of divine intervention.

Leliana wasn't healed by the Maker or the Ashes. She is a Rogue. One of the Rogue abilities is to feign death. She is not that important.

I never thought of that but that IS perfectly valid. lol

Anders bisexuality was not a retcon. Just because he doesn't immediately point out his orientation/ happens to only flirt with one gender  while with the Warden doesn't mean anything. For all we know, there just weren't any men in DA:A he wanted to flirt with, or he wasn't comfortable doing so at the time. Gaider has said he was intended as bisexual ever since first creating him.

I agree with you up to here

Gaider can say that all he wants, but it did not come across at all in Awakening

This is the stupidest crap I've read today. I can maintain that she faked her death and not be an atheist in game or RL. SMH. Wack.

But for a brief period the uncorrupted Ashes were in proximity to her "corpse". Leliana's mortal wounds could have been healed with no-one the wiser, but she remained unconscious, only awakening long after the Warden and party had left the Temple?

(Or as someone else said, she used feign death, which might be far more likely)

Ah, I've never played the Annul storyline, so Cullen as Knight-Commander probably does count as a retcon.

No, but seriously, he openly hits on Nathaniel in Awakening. It's right there in their party banter. It was there all along.

I'd also like to see a quote if you (or anybody) can find one... I've never heard of this before.

I know what they're talking about; and it's pretty ambiguous. But it can be interpreted that way.

Anders: You know, Nathaniel, you're just like me.

Nathaniel: Am I, now?
Anders: Everyone hates your family for something terrible they did, even though you weren't involved!
Nathaniel: I hope you have a point, Anders.
Anders: It's like you're a mage! If there were more Howes, they'd lock all of you up in a tower to protect everyone else!
Nathaniel: A thrilling analogy.
───────
Nathaniel: I've thought about what you said, Anders. The comparison between my family and mages. It's idiotic. I am not about to transform into an abomination simply for being a Howe.
Anders: I didn't say it was a perfect analogy...
Nathaniel: Being a Howe also does not allow me to control your mind.
Anders: Kind of missing my point, aren't you?
Nathaniel: I am not a fan of over-simplifications.
Anders: Fine, fine. Your loss.

Yeah, I don't remember this.

I believe Anders is bisexual but I never noticed it.

Mostly, he came off as MageAlistair.

Fair enough. It wasn't hinted at in the game, that's true.

I never caught that Nathaniel dialogue though, so that's interesting. Perhaps it was, but just not as strongly.

I'd say the story about him attacking mages before heading for the hills is also a retcon. There's no way mages aren't keeping track of who's doing what to whom as a matter of self-preservation.

The link is appreciated, but I don't get it...

How does two men talking mean that one of them is gay?  It seems like one hell of a stretch if this is the conversation that idea is based on....
