That's something I shall never understand.
Having acted before and having portrayed creepy characters I don't see how someone can fail at disconnecting a character from themselves. Unless Ledger was way into some of that method acting crap...

Really? I liked it because he was so creepy. The Joker has gone through many renditions, but creepy Joker is the best, and he did it so well.
