Hopefully the ending cutscene for Tomb Raider won't glitch out for you as it did for me. I could hear everyone talking the whole time as I stared at a black screen.Really? Although not surpriing I guess, as I currently still have Dishonoured and Tomb Raider to finish, and no real desire too at the moment.
If Bioware HAD to pick a Canon Shepard ( Not Ending related.)

I found the percentage breakdown for ME2:
Most played class... Soldier?
Baffling. Why don't they just play a shooter?
And 50% not finishing the game.
Mindblowing.

The most mindblowing stat for me was that there were people with over 200 playthroughs. I completed ME2 maybe 7 or 8 times.

200 playthroughs of ME2? Impressive. I need to catch up.

Mindblowing.
Because peope just pick default; the same reasoning I suspect male is chosen. It's the default option. Human nature I guess.

Think you got those numbers blurred together. It was "Mass Effect 2" "28 times"
In the time since I had Mass Effect 2, that number might be accurate if I counted the ones my brother did, since he played it on my Xbox under my Gamertag

I probably did around 20 ME3 runs because I lost my save files and all achievements at some point and played for a week on Narrative trying to get them all back (can be done in a shorter amount of time, I just made a few mistakes along the way)Eh... woah.

Did bioware ever release stats on romances? Had a quick goggle but they did nothing.
Chances are the characters that were the most popular romances/relationships in ME/ME2 are the ones who got the most content in ME3. So Liara and Garrus.

Right, so you're saying that, statistically, MaleSheps decided to forgo romances entirely in ME2? Come on.Chances are the characters that were the most popular romances/relationships in ME/ME2 are the ones who got the most content in ME3. So Liara and Garrus.

Maybe they only counted imports, and LotSB.
I was going to say Tali was a big one, but she doesn't get introduced until more than half way through. But I'd say she was the most popular of the three options in ME2.
Well, maybe there isn't much weight to what I said, but I'm sure if Miranda/Jack were more popular with players, then they'd have gotten bigger roles in the third game. An EA produced power-fantasy is going to pay attention to character popularity.

For old characters to return, it must stay in the same universe. There are articles about Bioware's statement of possible old characters might make a return. That's a pretty big hint...
So...it means Liara will be back to torture me.

So how does that equate to a low number of femsheps then, given that those two are pretty much the main femshep love interests (with the obvious exception of the drell).
Something doesn't add up really.
Anyway, one interesting phenomenon I have noticed is that a majority of the fan art seems to involve femshep. Curious that.
It'll be interesting to see how me4 turns out anyway.

No...only some dev comments on twitter and interviews (Liara being a fan favorite, not much love for Kaidan, etc.)
And Chris Priestly once said (after Mass Effect 2 was released) that only a relatively small percentage of players played a romance ...so single Shepard is apparently the most popular ![]()

Everytime someone tells me Liara is a fan favorite because the devs say so, I'm reminded of Lana Lang in Smallville, or Kate from Robin Hood...

The comic does makes you wonder if it was an explanation DLC or a weird ode to Liara.

As much as I wouldn't mind seeing Liara return, I wonder if they were talking about Javik. In some of the teaser footage there looks like their might be a Prothean character on the far right side of the screen. (and partially outside of it)
I think Javik returning would be awesome as well btw. ![]()
