What if the Krogan Warlord had Warp besides Electric Hammer? Would that make him too OP'd combined with Biotic Hammer? Would it give you a dilemma on what rank to choose in the Biotic Hammer tree on Rank 5? How would you feel if Warp was in place of Electric Hammer?
If Krogan Warlord had...

More possibilities means more builds and options and thus more fun.

The damage of the Biotic Hammer combined with the damage of the biotic explosion would be OP. Plus, we have already sentinels who don't fit the original definition of their class, so I'm satisfied that the Warlord has both a biotic and a tech offensive power.

I am a sucker for biotic explosions and so, would've liked it. Also, warp instead of EH would've given me something to think about while speccing the character. (It's a pretty easy choice for me now - skip EH)
More possibilities means more builds and options and thus more fun.
Well, EH is good against Shields and Barriers 'cause of its x3 multiplier, but it's terrible against Health and Armor. EH is sort of the opposite version of playing the Warlord, I guess.

Well, he still has Tech Armor. If he has two biotic powers + a tech power he would still be a Sentinel. Even the Vanilla Sentinels are of the same concept.

True, but mooks with shields and barriers die to a running melee, or two at most. As for bosses,Well, EH is good against Shields and Barriers 'cause of its x3 multiplier, but it's terrible against Health and Armor. EH is sort of the opposite version of playing the Warlord, I guess.
Primes are a joke anyway to this guy.
I don't engage praetorians with melee.
And when I melee a banshee, she's usually down to armor.
I don't willingly fight Cerberus, so atlases are out of the equation.
The only nice thing about EH is its AoE but in a team game, a close ranged AoE attack like EH becomes less useful. The only time I prefer EH is when soloing geth.

Too much cheese. You might as well just tap the fire button for lightly sprinkled cheese.

Yes, I know, but I'm still prefering how sentinels are build in ME1, ME2 or in the ME3 SP, with both biotic and tech "offensive" powers. And their "defensive" power could be biotic as well (Barrier).

Dat hammer + Self biotic explosions and warp debuff? Yeah it would be OP, on gold anyway.

It wouldn't be a Sentinel anymore. It would be an arcane smith. The kind that invented space flight for Krogan, because Warp + Biotic Hammer should be enough to send hundreds of pyjaks into a solid Tuchanka orbit.
Those Krogan are still remembered as the inventors of the Warp-Drive. Only, today it's not pyjaks anymore that are considered to be the reaction mass.

No, wait...give him sync-kill immunity! ![]()
On topic, it would not make him OP. In my mind, there's no such thing as long as we have the GI. It would just make him very effective and likeable as a character, that's all. Annihilation Field would be even better, haha.

I mostly solo Geth with the Krolord so I skip Biotic Hammer

The (Biotic) Hammer already is overkill when used on the vast majority of enemies, and Krolords have never been a bad boss-killers anyway.
The Warlord's own enthusiasm (getting sync'ed) is his worst enemy. Warp doesn't fix that problem.
My sympathies lie with the Krodept, who would look like a complete moron for having traded a mighty warhammer for CrapWave. All he can do is brag about his Warp cheese and occasional bioplosion (assuming CrapWave works). It would be cruel to take that away from him.

He would be weaker with Warp since Electric Hammer is clearly better against Geth. Just bring along a Drell Adept or Asari Justicar to fulfill your Biotic Explosion needs with the Krogan Warlord.

I'd actually rather replace Biotic Hammer with a wide-area detonator.
If we're talking OP, Shockwave would be hilarious, because multiple Cryo/Fire explosions per combo!
