I got crushed between two cars in 2011 and spent a year in the hospital. (really)

Ouch. That must have sucked. I have a chronic speech impediment that makes it difficult to be hired.

A grenade exploded in the market square of my hometown a couple of weeks ago, killing two and injuring a dozen people (inc. several children and a family neighbour). I spent hours thinking something happened to my relatives while I waited for details seeing as they own a business in the market centre.
If we're talking about something that happened to me specifically, I was interstate attending the funeral of my uncle a couple of months ago and witnessed another uncle get into a car accident (no one seriously injured, but he was held overnight at hospital) and then came home to get into my own car accident a few weeks later. No one was hurt either so that's alright, unless you count my crying wallet when I paid my insurance excess since it was my fault.
Must've stepped under a ladder a couple of months ago tbh.
@Senya: Getting work is difficult in today's market at the best of times, I wish you good luck with your job search.

About 12 years ago I ordered some Chicken McNuggets at the mall's food court, I bit into one, and it was only cooked about 1/4 of the way through. It was really gross.

Yikes, that thing with the grenade sounds awful.

Nasty, but that's fast food for you.
For the past 6 or so months I have been partially paralyzed from the waist-down due to many long running spinal cord problems and trauma. I have some muscle control, but when I do a motion that feels like it should produce, say, a full kick, I usually get a twitch. It's actually a strangely claustrophobic feeling. I'm improving, but not fast.
This also makes most aspects of my job difficult to impossible.

Spent most of my savings on a trip to see my estranged Daughter and had fun. I am pretty healthy and had my wisdom teeth removed recently. It was very easy, very little pain. Wait, what's this thread about again??

I should have done my knees and spine surgeries in 2007 and shouldn't have ruined 8 years of my life living with 1/4 of my real strength and endurance.
