In the Control ending you end up with control of all the Reapers and are expected to behave and look out for everybody. Well what happens if your psychological profile is Ruthless and your morality is Renegade with red eyes? As I recall the Ruthless profile says that your Shepard is cold, calculating, and brutal. They sent a lot of people to their death and killed a lot of Batarians guys. It seems preposterous to me. Kind of like choosing the Sole Survivor profile then joining Cerberus. I guess what I am trying to say is, am I the only one who thinks everything will end up bad all over again if you chose that ending?

I think it is basically implied (especially if you have done certain other actions with Krogan, which does impact the Control speech) that you're pretty much a successful TIM, with a still more benevolent intention for the wider galaxy instead of just humanity.

Everything might go bad again, except you'll make it right ;). By force. Haha.

The bigger message with all endings is that the Reaper Cycle has at least ended (if not been broken by Destroy), and even if another Reaper Cycle starts again, it won't be the same one as before. Yes Emperor Shepard might make things bad, but there is still the feeling that it will NOT be as bad that the systematic search for a 'solution' that existed before.

Again, its about as close to TIM as you can be though, sure.

I wouldn't be worried, because Javik will eventually send all the Reapers to the grave. He'll defeat Reaper-Shepard and anyone else who stands in his way.

Then he will become the next emperor of the galaxy!

With the Hanar at his side who could stop him.

I have a few issues with the Control ending, but Shep's rise to galactic emperor is not one of them! ^^

Zaeed Javik and Wrex. We may not need the Hanar after all.

They could still use them as foot soldiers .. well, tentacle soldiers anyway.

Indeed just think about how many grenades you throw with that many arms and still be able to shoot.

lol    That's pretty frightening though. A psychotic Hanar with a grenade/gun in every tentacle, shouting "Enkindle this, suckers!"

Zaeed, Javik or Wrex could handle it. No problems.

Maybe not Zaeed he got beat up by an unarmed Hanar once. Now imagine one with a grenade launcher a flame thrower and a widow in two tentacles.

If the hanar is named Blasto, then we still need him.

That duel carnifex wielding could come in handy. Agreed.

That's why I had one of my ruthless near 100% Renegade Shepard pick Control in one play through. He wanted immortality and power. He was sick of being weak and having to answer to everyone else. Not to mention that everyone's incompetence ticked him off. So yeah, Control for that Shep is good for him but not so much for the Universe.

Agreed.  I saw the Renegade Control ending (via youtube) and thought with a lot of sarcasm, "Oh yeah, I don't see how becoming a tyrannical cyber god could possibly ever go wrong."

I would imagine something like Joseph Stalin's U.S.S.R but a Body count on a Galactic scale.

Good luck getting Javik on your side if you go Control. He'd sooner kill himself then work with the Reapers no matter who controls them.

I think they were talking about Zaeed, Javik, Wrex and the Hanar (presumably Blasto) VS Reaper Shepard.

OTOH, Control seems to be the ultimate renegade choice. Paragons shouldn't be picking it.

Heretic rewrite decision. Control is very Paragon. Renegades end potential threats with certainty, regardless of casualties, and show more enthusiasm for blowing stuff up generally.
