Just clear the biggest hurdle in my life

Just got out of the hospital after having surgery. Earlier this year I got a Kidney stone. While they were doing a CAT Scan they discover what look to be a cyst on my Kidney. Went to a doc and the cyst look suspecious. He order me to get an MRI. Found out it was in fact a tumor on my Kidney. Usually 90% of tumors on Kidney are cancer. Thankfully they found it very early. I was able to have it remove.

 

If found early Kidney Cancer is one of the most curable forms of cancer. I will be undergoing routine scans for the next 5 years. However I plan on making it a routine scan every year though. Just incase it does comeback. For now I am cancer free although I am in a lot of pain. The pain feel minor to what could have been. Also my kidney was able to be saved in the process.

Yeah, my friend had ovarian cancer a few years. It was detected early as well.  :) Hope you start feeling better soon.
