Ran into carrymeplz. They're pretty good. The two of us carried a couple other pugs for a few games, then I had to call it quits for the night. Definitely a great teammate though.

BioticPulse and I just had a Slayer by the name of PhilosoRapter join our game (Condor/Cerberus/Eurgh) and he was a decent player, a good teammate, and had a great sense of humor.

Ran into a guy called Eldreth tonight, don't recognise the name from BSN - I was hosting for a few games after a Sabreracer (who was hosting) called it a night and Eldreth joined and stuck around for a few games; he gets a shout-out for returning the Krogan headbutt and Batarian BroFists! ... solid player too.

kevin_lol_fail This guy was literally the only guy who knew to hold up away from the LZ on silver collectors on Hydra. Twenty seconds later I notice someone go down near the LZ and I'm thinking "sorry not going over there. were you not paying attention to the fluster cuck this match became after wave 6?"

Just a few very solid up to great PUG'ers I've run into lately. 

Did not realize we played together....

Had a few games with him yesterday, where he kept picking the same race as me

 

When I picked TSol, he was TSent

When I picked BatSol, he was BatSent

When I picked QMI, he was QFE

 

All three games we topped the board and were very close.  Was about to go Krogan but the host left and I was alone

I remember those! Yes, i was trying to play the same race with you. Fun Times!.

This is my first experience with MP, never tried before and I got hooked since the beginning.

I was a pug/noob for a while then i understood better game mechanics and such and I got better (and wasted tons of hours in the process..)

 

Now i really enjoy pugs in gold, a little less in plat because leeching... and i'm glad when i see tags that are familiar. Most of the friend are on other games and that is sad but it will be more sad when all will be turned off.

 

I remember my first clutch wave: bronze/cerb/giant: with HS no penetration mods and the last darn enemy was a guardian. CS+some bullets + cs + some bullets... it took forever...

 

I salute and toast everyone that I meet that is willing to put up he good fight, regardless of the equipment/mods/weapons. For the others there i a special place on MEhell...

People saying "this was their first MP experience" makes me feel very old ... hell, I used to have a link cable for the Amiga and my mate Andy and I would link those suckers together and play Dogfight or Populous II ...

It's safe to assume s/he meant MP in ME3, not first 'ever' multiplayer experience. Some of us have been around since the good ole C64 days, where multiplayer involved battering eachother over the head with one-button joysticks to the sound of SID chip ditties and eye melting loading screens that lasted 5-minutes

My first "ME3" MP experience is one I will never be able to relive again - and was a very pleasant, albeit totally embarrassing and frustrating experience that I wouldn't wish on any aspiring ME3 player

Aside from that, a big thank you to everyone for keeping the thread positive. It's nice to read through the names to see if I also encountered any of them along my own ME3 journeys. If you see a Falcon X spamming teal coloured FemSol in your Platinum adventures, be sure to give me a wave.

Though you've not got that many years on me... I've been playing multiplayer games on linked machines or LANs since before online MP was even a realistic option. Now I can get less latency connecting to servers around Europe than I used to get (playing Quake) on a 10 Mb/s LAN wired up around my parents house with old RF coax cable O_o

Lol, Now I feel like a young player (veeery close to the number 43).

 

Seems like there is propably more "older than most" ppl on BSN (or playing this game in general) than 1 would think.

 

A lot of the ppl on my fl is also in their prime age lol
