Good-Looking Salarian...

My theory is that...
1: Salarians (and possibly other species) have evolved
2: They went shopping for some new looks
3: ROMANCE INTEREST!!!

Do Salarians even?
As long as we get a singing salarian somewhere as a nod possibly a busker i'll be happy.
Edit: I want to see salarian dance moves.

Let me help you see that.
Step 1) Imagine tango scene with Garrus
Step 2) Replace Garrus with Mordin
Step 3) Mordin dialogues are seductive with "that voice" and singing
Step 4) [My avatar] watching Shepard and Mordin

I was picturing Mordin doing some Michael Jackson moves but you had a way better idea. ![]()

To the third part... BioWare lately said, they are looking also for proper "asexual romance(s)" for the future games. Salarians would be perfect, since they have almost no sexual needs.

As someone who thought Mass Effect turned the salarians (AKA one of the most powerful races in the galaxy) to something purely satellite to the krogan, I support this.

Javik: Salarian kidney is best served at room temperature. It is even better when the Salarian is still alive. The fear adds....spice

I always found Salarians confusing in that regard. The codex states they have no concept of romantic love and relationships are more akin to friendships yet I swear I've seen a few Salarian-Asari couples in game.

I'm hoping none of the species went through a radical redesign between games.
Dragon Age 2, anyone?
Just stay consistent.

It's true, though the only one I can recall is the salarian that's talking with the asari on Illium at the market kiosk in ME2. I don't think there's any in ME3 though.

I guess you could chalk it up to those Salarians being outliers.

Michael Gamble recently posted on twitter how he has never seen Salarians so good looking.

Oooooooooooooooor... it's because they are being rendered in Frostbite.

Battlefield 4
Doesn't exactly vouch for the quality of the game. Looking nice is fairly far down on the list of importance.
I'd say Battlefield 1942 is a helluva lot funner than 4. Not that I've played four all that much.

Looking good was exactly what discussion was about. There was a tweet from Michael Gamble mentioning that salarians never looked that good. People posted theories about what should it mean and Arcian suggested it might be just due to Frostbite engine. Antmarch456 wanted an example of Frostbite game and I gave one of the latest onesDoesn't exactly vouch for the quality of the game. Looking nice is fairly far down on the list of importance.

I may or may not have skipped to the bottom of the conversation....
Though I do hope the graphics take a back seat to gameplay and story. Just because one can animate each nosehair, doesn't mean that one should.

What if a Salarian girl looked at you and then she started to lick her eyes? I will pass on that.
Fornax issue 185 had a 17 page feature on salarian females doing just that. It sold millions of copies.... er, that is to say I only buy it for the articles. ![]()

I would cordially invite her to a no pants dance at my place.
