I for one would give Anders to Sebastian and go on my merry way.
Now that would be nice and then I can get rid of the guilt of supporting his actions...then again, my Inquisitor may want to kill him herself...either way, I want Seb to show up.

I would have liked Sebastian better had he been the one to try to kill Anders at the end.
Your Hawke could have been given the choice to let Sebastian kill Anders or Stop Sebastian. ![]()
Other than that, I found him annoying and too indecisive. Elthina was even annoyed by him.
Still would love a drunk Sebastian cameo. ![]()

It still wouldn't have anything on drunk Alistair which is the only canon Alistair i enjoy.

Actually it would....
Imagine Sebastian, his accent slurred and muttering "Murder"

Just can't compete with that.
He got fat, he's going bald and he's a whinny drunk!
I wish Sebastian would show up. Then I can put him down.
*sigh* still wish I could've told him to for once stand on his own two feet and kill Anders with his own damn hands.
I forgave that when it first happened, because I assumed him not killing Anders was a dev decision to avoid removing player agency, and it would've required an extra couple of animations to boot that they didn't want to make only for that scene. Of course, Seb could've murder knifed Anders using the same animation as Hawke. Sigh. I dunno. Maybe Sebastian just refuses to get his hands dirty like a true politician.

One of two things will happen:
One of two things will happen:
- Rivalry Sebastian grows some balls, conquers Starkhaven, becomes a tyrant who rules with an iron fist, and sends an elite squad of assassins after Anders. He'll aid the Templars zealously.
- Friendship Sebastian returns to Starkhaven. He'll put up a poster on the Chanter's Board asking someone to help him usurp his cousin. He'll live a long and unceremonious life of obsolescence.
You can kill Anders and still side with the mages when Sebastian is your rival, right? ![]()
I like the friendship one though. ![]()
I know my husbot is really hoping to see Sebastian, since his favorite lady Hawke was gaga for him and they got married.
And I know I am, because my first playthrough of DA2 had him in my TEAM LAW AND ORDER IN KIRKWALL DAMNIT, which was Aveline, TankHawke, Sebastian, and Fenris, he was a lot of my actual DPS. I really am fond of Sebastian. He reminds me of some people I've known... And I'm kind of sad that we didn't get a chance to chat with him more.
What I really like about Sebastian (and Aveline, to a lesser extent) is that they seem a lot more normal than the rest of the party. They have flawed, multinote reactions and mess up. Sebastian's indecision and waffling is part of who he is. And I like the guy. Not just because he's quite pretty (though that doesn't hurt), but also because he seems like a nice guy who's trying to figure out the best way to go forward, with only the best of intentions.
But maybe I just murderknife Anders too much.
(Law and order, maximum stability for the common folk Hawke was best Hawke.)

I thought it was clear with the whole 'hunt Anders down' part. Edited just for you.

Alistair's alcoholism is nowhere near as bad as his lyrium addiction, homes.

He's indulging both now! ![]()
Regardless of what Hawke did, I'd like Sebastian to turn up in Inquisition or at least some reference made to him. His story was left hanging; would he or wouldn't he return to Starkhaven? Then there is the impact of Elthina's death on his faith; why Maker, why? When the Circles fell and mages are on the loose, you'd think he would get involved in some way. I suppose there is a possibility he would have gone to the peace conference, in which case he's toast. Still it would be nice to know.
I was always upset that my Hawke who was spiritually married to him, ended up alone in the epilogue because it didn't recognise him as a romance. Then the DLC got bugged so I could never complete his story arc again.

Sebastian and Threat put in the same sentence.
Sebastian and Threat put in the same sentence.
During my last playthrough of DA2, I noticed how many times people say "Maker, no!" in Dragon Age. If I ever really wanted to annoy myself, I'd record it all and mix it with some of Liara's "By the Goddess!"
And then I'd use it to kill ants or something.
Since I'm in act 3 right now, and for a change, I've been Rivalling Sebastian, I'm highly amused to note that Hawke's going "You're awesome, go kick butt and be king!" as opposed to "Follow your heart!"
My husbot joked Sebastian's going to wind up going full Oliver Queen (Arrow version) and be patrolling Starkhaven's rooftops going "You have failed this city!" I'll take it.
Goddamn, just playing through DA2, I want more Hawke and all of Hawke's merry band of squabbling kittens. I really hope we see Sebastian in DA:I. And I hope something comes of his threat, even if it's just that he cools down once he has time to think and dedicates himself to sniping Anders.
Why would Sebastian not need a belt buckle?
...Why would Sebastian not have pants on?
....
...SNARKY HAWKE!
Won't lie, my thought when he threatened to burn Kirkwall to the ground was "Good, because this place is a damn hell pit." It wasn't like my Hawke was sticking around anyway!
