It wasn't just Orlais, they saw all humans as enemies & threats. Is sucky that their kind ruined any chance of a human-elven alliance but its the CE's who got punished for it & still get punished for it while the Dalish hide in the woods attacking humans who get close.
Where, exactly, does it say the Dales saw all humanity as their enemy? None of the elven characters made that claim, and neither does their historical account read as such. Sarel, in fact, said that humans turned cold towards the Dales because they followed the Creators. The Dalish claim they wanted to be left alone, and that the Chantry invaded because the elves wouldn't convert to their religion; since we don't know which historical account is correct, you have no basis for claiming that the elves were responsible.
Furthermore, the developers mention that most clans avoid violent altercations with Andrastian humans, so you might want to amend that criticism.
Really lets bring this OT
Think we get any bonuses?
Hopefully we will get bonuses in the form of coin.
I can provide one:
World of Thedas, page 118:
"Nonhumans: The Chantry began and has continued to be a predominantly human organization. Other races are seen to be futher from the Maker. The elves have their false pantheon of idols. The dwarves worship themselves. The Qunari are worst of all, actively crushing worship of the Maker and desecrating Chantry values in the name of the Qun. For these reasons, other races are considered all the more worthy of saving. The Chantry believes the Maker won't return until even the Qunari sing his name."
So where did they forcibly start converting people again? That was only evidence of the Qunari forcing others to submit.

I wonder if we'll get a statue?
Some new canticle in the Chant of Light ...Leliana could write some stuff when she's bored in her rookery.
Sarel, in fact
Was a bitter racist drunk.

We know the war officially started in response to elven aggression, and their march on Val Royeaux lends credence to the idea that the Dalish had been militaristic before hand
You know, besides the clans that do get involved in violent altercations...

I haven't been in that group for ages, heck I don't even know the comments your talking about. So ya, lumping everyone because of a few is intolerance. Practice what you preach
Seriously how long is that damn argument going to be employed?
99% of them seen thus far have been hostile dicks.
It's not like they have reasons for hating humans, I mean they generally get run away by humans when humans find out there is a Dalish camp near their towns and cities. Most humans either hates or fear the Dalish for various reasons, hell they even lost their country, not once but twice to the humans and there eleven kind lives in ghettos and gets treated like crap.
Sure they can act like dicks, but so does a a lot humans and dwarfs.

Keep up.

some people here are super anti-chantry and find offense to even the slightest bit of religious trappings being forced on their character.
It's not just that. The title really only fits a human inquisitor. Will my Tal-Vashoth or my surface dwarf really want to be called the Herald of Andraste? Um, no. They could care less about a human religion. They have their own beliefs.
ETA: Dalish elves have more reason than dwarves or Qunari to admire Andraste, but I don't think the majority of them would take kindly to being called her Herald. They have their Creators, thank you very much.

Er, that wasn't in reply to you.

All right, so you believe as well that most abominations are magicless grunts that attack in packs and can be cut down with relative ease?

Probably not

Ah, yes, because the PC can't murder huge loads of people for no reason regardless of race.
"He bothered me."
See! The elves are the most bigoted faction in the setting!
Those racist humans were trying to steal all their women. What were they supposed to do?

The Sabrae Clan doesn't automatically attack the templars who tortured one of their children, they initially warn them off; they also didn't kill the Andrastians who threatened them to convert. Velanna was exiled from her clan for wanting to retaliate against the humans who tried to burn them in the forest, and her clan remarks positively when they see her in the company of humans. Zathrian's clan doesn't immediately attack a non-Dalish Warden, and Junar tells Pol that the clan prohibits banditry against humans.
