Really, I am at a loss. I am in the Silverite Mines, of course, and everybody online here has me scared. So, I killed the first Experimental Subject. And The wicked Witch states the subject has her armor. But when I kill the subject, there are no items to be had. Is this the bug everyone is talking about? Or do I have to kill all 4 subjects before I get my stuff back? I have only spent about 45 minutes in the mines and saved right before entering the mine on another file. So, I think I will go the safe route, return to Vigil and leave my stuff behind. but what a drag... Any body out there that can help ASAP? Also, now everyone has me wondering... I bought this game and could only download it as there is no disc available to buy for Mac Pro Intel. The computer continually crashes everytime a movie scene or battle against a big boss occurs, and I mean a HARD unplug the damned machine and restart kind of crash. i JUST spent 650 bucks on a new graphics card as mine is what was supplied by Mac and I thought this was why, but if I find out it is this game that is causing the issues, then I may have to take these guys to court for such frustration and possible damage to my machine. Just saying.

If you start in the cell in your underwear then you've been hit by the bug. You should be wearing some nasty clothes. You can just unequip yourself rather than dumping everything at the keep. Probably should've posted this in the DA:O forums.

I had similar issues with crashing and found it was due to overheating. If you can, try increasing the fan speed, or even take off a side panel, and see if that resolves the issue.
Hope that helps!

Thanks to you  both. *I* found out what I did in preparation and got thru the entire mine with no issues. I truly think my computer sucks for now... in a few days I will have a more powerful graphics card and all should be fine. Turns out, I followed others instructions and made my guys and gals nekked. In doing so, the subjects had nothing but I was able to retrieve it all at the end by the merchant Quinari. Oh, and drummerchick, thanks, and already knew this was an issue and had everything including my internet cable disconnected or turned off.  I CANNOT wait for my new piece of machina to make my gaming way more fun! I took my computer vac to the interior and everything is cooler for now. And as to metatheurgist's reply, I have no idea where everything is here on this site as I am new and thought I would get a faster reply by starting a new one. Sorry to not follow protocol but doing things *MY* way worked! <G> Again thanks to you both and keep yer fingers crossed that when I get my new vid card things will be mucho bettero! It always seems it is user's lack of knowledge that hurts the most! Now on to more fun and traveling in the realms of Bioware. I truly hope i never offended anyone. Just my worries! Cheers for now... until I find a new reason to vent! <WG>

Addendum, is the  "Inquisition" a huge download and is it worth it? So far, I am VERY happy with this game and really want to explore more. Kudos to the ability to keep one's VERY powerful mage to run through these excursions with little damage!! Just want to know about how great the next issue of Dragon Age is for all the knowledgable players out there. Can't wait to start my second round with al the knowledge I have garnered from my first attempt!

Actually, Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2 and Inquisitions all have separate forums, if you click Forums, you will see the whole list of each game, even the different languages. Can't send game companies to court if the computer overheats or cant handle the game, the system requirements are there for that and located in more than one location, for future reference since you brought it up.

Inquisition might be a huge download, no idea to be truthful, not sure how many discs its on yet as its still too early to tell. Even system requirements is unknown. I know there are links to test computer builds if it can handle BF4 (Battlefield 4), try there to see if yours can, however, I don't think yours can at current specifications till you get that new card. Also consider other factors, power supply wattage vs usage, CPU, and ram.

Inquisition is improved on a lot, may want to check out gameplay videos on youtube as well as the trailers. I definitely know its worth my money twice over.

Thanks drummerchick! And aTigersLunch, that little quip I made was all poking fun. There is no way I could actually find the reason to sue anyone! Too much life to explore to waste on squabbles. Truly, I may have spent 8 g's on my computer, but that was almost 10 years ago now. I think this it what they call an extinct dinosaur, but not even worth the bones! And I will check the other forums out. Thanks for the directions.
