So, my fellow Inquisitors.

You have the title of Herald of Andraste potentially.

Who amongst you will actually try to live up to this role?

Either politically or spiritually?

Which amongst you will shamelessly exploit the faith of the mundanes?

And which amongst you will attempt to become a Paragon of Virtue which shall make Upper Left Blue Shepard envious?

I will most definitely follow andraste's teaching and bring peace to the land at all cost. If the maker is real or not, its an ideal i'll live by.

I see no reason not for them to deign me a hereald of a dead woman who is alledgedly the makers wife/possible mage. I mean i have a lambant left hand, seal magical portals and im a mage what reason not to. Magic exist to serve man, never rule over him

Do I get a piety score boost?

I want to kick out the Divine and install my own Anti-Divine that will take less issue with things.

Playing a non-religious character in a quasi-Medieval setting wouldn't make much sense, so I'll have my human and qunari Inquisitors embrace it. Plus having to listen to constant edgy atheist anti-Chantry rants would get old fast.

My first Inquisitor is going to milk it for all the sovereigns it's worth.

Neutral Trevelyan Mage is as Andrastrian as he can be without hating himself. He'll be insulted by the blasphemous notion that he is the Prophetess' Herald.

Yes, but will he accept donations in the form of coin?

I plan on doing something similar, but I don't see why he would be insulted when he clearly meets someone in the Fade. It's not like they just wake up in the middle of an explosion. Other things happened first.

Inquisitor's gotta eat somehow. Paramilitary organizations cost sovereigns. Chalk it to the cost of closing the Breach. Not heretical delusions of the ignorant masses.

Unless that someone says that she is the Maker's Bride and it sounds convincing I won't believe it. Whether 'he' believes it is still up in the air though.

Do you think a mage would travel to something in the Fade and just reach out to it before talking to it first? I hope not, anyway.

Well, I think I'm going to start my Tal-Vashoth off as a bit confused and disoriented by the explosion and willing to listen to any explanation that might explain what happened to him.

After that, he might start to grow into the title others have bestowed upon him and embrace it entirely.

I think my Vashoth Inquisitor will see it as nothing more than an opportunity to move up in the world. She'd sooner be called the Herald of Andraste than whatever else Theodosians would call someone like her.

She'll also probably take great satisfaction in the thought of the Qunari finding out one of their dreaded 'Grey Ones' is in such a position outside Par Vollen.

A lot of people are assuming that figure in a trailer is Andraste.  It could be anyone and there is no solid evidence that is even part of the beginning of the game.  That could take place at any point.

And I stand by the fact that even if it is implied Andraste is the one to give us power they will NEVER come out and say it 100%.  There will always be a shade of gray there.

Only if the Chantry has my statue look like this, so that there will be no confusion for future generations on how awesome I am;

Heh... There's the Lucrosian spirit.  Keep those philosophical objections behind closed doors and let the coin flow in.  :D

I'm actually curious how your companions will react to this if you choose to embrace it or even if you dont'.

Will Cullen, Leliana, or Cassandra bring it up?

Oh, btw, I'm sort of Mage Jesus?
