I'd say the Juggernaut is underused. The Puggernaut is overused.

I think most people see the kit and go ooh shiny. I get to be a big tank that can't be grabbed and have a lot of health. Surely I can afford to be as dumb as I want now and live. Always is funny when the only person to die an entire game is the juggernaut.

Bronze level players can play on gold. They don't need any skill, don't need any experience, don't need good gear or weapons, don't have to worry about getting sync killed & they can just stand there doing their heavy melee while the rest of the team does all the work. It's basically the mobile version of camping on Firebase White against Geth. Best way for a new player to get a ton of credits. Doesn't bother me, they make a good distraction.

I just don't understand why Bioware programmed the Banshees to ignore everything else & go straight for the Juggernaut. That just ruins the game. Never knowing if you're gonna get grabbed was part of the fun. But if there's a Juggernaut on the field the Banshees just ignore you & walk right by. There's no danger anymore. Instead of being constantly chased by Banshees, now I have to chase them. And if I shoot them they STILL ignore me. The Brute's will turn around & charge at me but not the Banshees. I really wish Bioware didn't do that. It's totally stupid & unrealistic.

What Excella said, I don't have a problem at all when I see or play as a jug(personally I enjoy playing as him, although he's far from my favorite). What I have a problem with is the melee juggs. These are the kind we see too often, or the kind that die every five seconds and can't kill something to save their life.

I often use a melee Jugg, except I slap on the Batarian Gauntlet and actually go to town  ;)

Seems pretty obvious if you bother to think about it.

Never really noticed that banshee thing until recently, the other bosses at least acknowledge the existence of other players

Obviously because they can go invis and hide like babies behind their geth robot shield.

I see far more Infiltrators than I do Jugg's - And anytime Jugg's show up, they tend to be sniper rifle weilding DPS ones. I'm not sure if some of them even know how to heavy melee - Too busy trying to snipe kills, or spamming siege pulse.

I've seen them like 4 times in last two months. Gold and below.

It's the best charachter in the game, cos' you can melee Banhsees all day every day (literally) and don't get synckilled.

I'm deadly serious.

I posted in the 'describe the PUG' thread that me and 1-2 others had met through Plat PUG and ended up doing three back to back with full extractions. Once two slots opened up for the next match, in walks a Black Widow & Pistol Jugg (using an ASSAULT RIFLE AMP) trying to play like an Infiltrator - And another one joined with level 1 equipment. I have no idea why the chap I had played with (who was leader) allowed the match to start (guess he thought we could carry) but he accepted fate and bled out on wave 2 seeing as the two Juggs just decided to repeatedly die side by side doing a whole lot of not much, and I foolishly got impaled by a Banshee trying to save them.

It's one thing to carry a round or three - But carry the whole match for 1.5hrs? Totally understand letting the match end early.

Thing you need to remember is that rank doesn't mean anything. Anyone, no matter how experienced or clueless, can join any rank/difficulty of game with no restrictions - And 9/10 times, Plat runs of mine have either been made, or broken, by Jugg players of all kinds. I've seen a hell of a lot of sniper rifle Juggs in matches, and others trolling with full DPS kit - But I never thought much of it before seeing as games seemed to be 80% infiltrators and engineers until now.

After getting hugged by a banshee one too many times yesterday... I can understand the temptation.

And of course then there's this...

So you mainly see engineers and infiltrators but "your group" is juggernauts who are dps monsters? Are you sure you're playing mass effect multiplayer?

Seeing as you're struggling to grasp it, I'll make it easier. Comment on the Juggs was regarding a PUG group that ended up sticking together. Comments on 'mostly' seeing Infiltrators and Engineers was a general statement of what I see in most teams when I solo PUG.

Above post was regarding a match/session from yesterday.

• I sign up for PlatPUG (Soldier)

• I land on a random team (no Juggs)

• We win easily, three of us decide to stick together.

• We win three Plats back to back with full extractions.

• One guy leaves before 4th match, leaving two open slots.

• The two above mentioned Jugg DPS join the two open slots.

• Proceed to fail miserably.

It was ironically the first time I had seen any geth juggs after about 3-4hrs of MP'ing, yet 9/10 games had Infiltrators or Engineers until that point.

Yes I am talking about ME3MP - This is the ME3MP Forum.

Hope that sinks in.

I don't see many more Juggernauts than I see any other class...the most I've found lately were two of them in the same match.

the only thing that can sync-kill juggernauts are the servers disconnecting.

but yeah, juggies are a pugs' go-to character because they can't be sync-killed.

So you are comparing a single character use to a class of characters. Ok well let make it simple:
Why do 92% of people play soldier class with the majority being geth juggernauts? Soldier gets played more than anything. If its not a juggernaut it's the geth trooper or vorcha flame throwing everywhere. I will give you infiltrator as a second because there is usually 1 playing at any time but not a specific one besides that stupid edi.
