Alright, so there's lots "best" or "greatest" or whatever lists about games. But.... What a bout the worst?????

Well, here's my 5 worst games ever-

1) Amy. This game was dubbed prior to release as the "next silent hill" and "true great survival horror"..... But.... Wow is this game bad. Amy is one of those games that will make you not want to play another game. It's that bad. In most games you expect to actually hit your enemy when near them or be able to pick up items and all sorts of really advanced things like that..... In fact, I am positive that Amy is the greatest example of trolling the player, you can't do anything in this game and sometimes it just stops working entirely, lol. Worst game I've ever played.

2) Rogue Warrior. What a POS this was. Terrible controls, awful. AND I MEAN AWFUL dialogue and Voice acting (despite having Mickey Rourke playing the lead). This game was hype big time. Published by bethesda and written by the talent and former Navy SEAL Richard Marcinko, this game had all that it needed to be really good..... But.... WRONG. It was awful! Bad graphics, bugs out the a$$ and only about a 4 hour campaign..... This game was so bad, lol.

3) Daikantana. You would think a game that was featured in Time Magazine in 2000..... And made by the Legendary John Romero (Creator of DOOM) would be at the very least, good. But nope, lol. This game was a dog. What a terribad game, lol.

4) Aliens Colonial Marines. This game was so hyped. Unbelievable so. And it was so bad that Geabox, And Sega are still trying to blame one or the other for how bad it is, lol. What  a POS.

5 MindJack. Or As I call it. How not to make a third person shooter. Terrible controls, average gunplay, bug and gltiches galore and a utterly dumb story earn MindJack a place on this list.

So that's mine. What's your worst games of all time.

????

The only wost game on your list I recognize is Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Ride to Hell: Retribution makes even the worst game look like a masterpiece, so that would definitely be first on my list.

Hmmm.  I'm Going with BF, or any game that says "Ubisoft" on the box, cuz if you play MP on a Ubisoft game you won't be playing long before you get split from your team, disconnected, lagged out, or your progress/options get messed up.  And lets not forget about the animus hack glitch.

Oh, and SOCOM 4 that game was a slap in the face to fans, and complete garbage.

That game was so bad it got the developer closed down....can anyone do better than that? B)

Is this about functionality, i.e.: quantifiable aspects of a game not working, or is this about subjective opinions?

If the former: Battlefield 4 (launch version and some months after that)

Horrid game stability, horrid server stability, many exploitable glitches/bugs and overall abysmal performance even if it wasn't crashing. They sorted most of it out, but it's still not in a state where I would heartily recommend it to anyone over Battlefield 3.

If the latter: Civilization V

Came as a Civoholic from Civ II, III and IV and had played the latter almost religiously, hours and hours on end. My playtime for CIV alone is EASILY past 2000 hrs. Had much hopes for CiV, all of which got dashed. Stupidly simplified techtree, horrible diplomacy, blatantly cheating AI (even compared to previous Civ AI on harder difficulties, CiV AI will cheat itself tons of gold and then instabuild armies (note the plural) after they declared war on you) and worst of all a drastic change in play philosophy. You were forced to play to win, no more easy, casual empire building because the AI would callously declare war on you whenever you did well because you were impairing their chances to win. A metagaming AI is NEVER a good idea.

Ugh, I always used to hate Black & White, although that could have had something to do with the fact that I bought it in Dutch and the oice acting was horrible! Otherwise 2 Worlds for me, I honestly can't say anything about the story because I quit it right away after hearing the voice actor brrr.

Just mentioning, black and white is my second favourite game OF ALL TIME. The voice acting may be a little stupid, but it conveys characters nicely.

Anyway, on with the worst:

  1. Sid Meiers Civilisation IV
  2. Dawn of War
  3. Dragonshard
  4. SCRABBLE 2008 edition- Don't laugh
  5. ROME total war
  6. Mystery case files: PRIME SUSPECT
  7. Homeworld
  8. Lord of the rings conquest
  9. Tomb raider chronicles
  10. Prince of Persia- the sands of time

I haven't really played many terrible games so my list of "top 5 worst games ever played" doesn't contain complete abominations.

I've decided to exclude all the 3D Sonic games from my list because else my entire list would be only 3D Sonic games.

Here it goes, from number 5 to 1:

5. DARK:

I like vampires and I like stealth games, so this game looked like something I'd enjoy. Boy was a wrong, the writing in it was terrible, the gameplay became repetitive and boring and the A.I was one of the worst A.Is I've seen in a stealth game.

4. Mass Effect 3:

Fun gameplay but mediocre graphics and absolutely terrible writing. It was a really poor Michael Bay-quality finale to a series I once loved.

3. Fable 3:

Nice graphics, good atmosphere, but the rest of the game was pure crap. Bad writing, extremely limited freedom in comparison to previous Fable games, terrible gameplay and whoever thought the Sanctuary was a good idea should be fired from Lionhead Studios.

2. Dragon Age 2:

Boring, ugly graphics, buggy, repetitive and horrendous writing. This game is seriously the worst BioWare game I've ever played and one of the worst games I've ever played.

1.The Elder Scrolls Online:

This game is not only the worst MMO I've ever seen or played, it's also the worst game I've ever seen or played period. It probably won't be long before this game becomes free-to-play. The only reason people are playing this piece of garbage is because it's TES. I wonder how many people would have picked this game up if this game wasn't linked to the TES franchise. This game almost gave me cancer.

Hmm, I don't have a game that I'd call the worst, but these left me a bad impression. May receive hate for this, but whatevs. In no particular order.

Battletoads - Couldn't care about finishing it after dying and getting stuck a sh*tload of times.

Alan Wake - My main problems are the boring repetitive combat, very little enemy variety and the copy-paste environments (running through forests and sawmills got tedious pretty fast).

Drakengard 3 - While the combat was alright, none of the characters were likeable and the story was pretty much God of War. Eventually I just got bored of Zero and couldn't care less about how her story ends.

Shadow Warrior - Fun for about five or less chapters until it gets so goddamn boring since you do nothing but fight hordes of enemies over and over. The boss fights are different visually but require the same tactics, thus didn't find them very exciting. Also too much emphasis was placed on the sword. Most guns felt underpowered, or in some cases downright useless, compared to the katana's power attacks.

Skyrim - Nice open world filled with wooden characters. The story was paper-thin story and the choices didn't have a big impact "Oh, you are asociated with an assassin group and killed the emperor, but we are gonna let that slide and let you remain in the Legion because who really gives a f*ck about him, right?". Also hearing the same 3 actors' voices when speaking to a bunch of different NPC's got rather tedious. Most of the replayability came from the mods.

BioShock 2 - This was such an unecessary sequel. The story was garbage, the characters forgettable. Also whoever thought that playing as a Big Daddy would be fun is a moron. It's like they looked at that part of BioShock 1 where Jack helps a Little Sister gather Adam and though "Damn, now that looks like a lot of fun, amirite?". Safe to say it's the worst game in the series.

BioShock Infinite - Not sure how you can take an already meh combat and make it worse, but BioShock Infinite did it. The story was a mixed bag, nothing spectacular, but it was still pretty interesting. It's the combat that was the big problem. Plus, the shield shattering and covering the entire screen with fractures got rather annoying after a bunch of shootouts.

Witcher - Terrible combat. The voice acting's also pretty damn bad. I was told it gets better after the first two chapters, but just couldn't be bothered to play it any longer once I reached the second chapter.

GTA 4 - Too much grey and brown. Combat and driving were pretty bad too.

Bubsy 3D.--  Holy sh*t.  It's been over 15 years since I've played it, and it still haunts me.

Or VMX Racing for PS1.

The worst game I can remember playing is Resident Evil 5. The game was frighteningly unscary, the hardest part of the game play was overcoming your partner's terrible AI, the story was boring and confusing, Shiva's "tribal" costume seemed kind of racist, the inventory system was terrible, there were too many QTEs, compared to the previous titles, Wesker got about 95% uncooler, the cover based shooting elements they shoehorned in felt broken and incomplete, and Chris punched a boulder. This game was just a train wreck.

The worst game I've played is GTA: San Andreas. CJ should work out everyday just to be capable of doing missions. jk lol

Not the worst game, but I should complain somewhere:

Ballad of Gay Tony. Seriously, the protagonist is a real jerk and other characters have no appeal. I have done 7 missions and just two of them were good (The golf mission and the helicopter). On the contrary, The Lost and Damned has some good written characters, very interesting missions and sympathy-able protagonist.
