I also notice that each gender has two rogues, two warriors, and two mages. Each gender has four humans and two non-humans. The only 'inequality' one could complain about is that there are no male elves or female qunari.
But let's keep pretending that it could have NEVER have been done with no need for specific genders, period, tied to certain classes or races right?
I wouldn't be surprised if future DLC provided those.
It shouldn't require future DLC. There was absolutely no need for tying characters to specific genders.
This isn't the Asari or Geth or Vorcha, where there is effectively either one gender(Asari) or no real gender (Geth+Vorcha). Considering the relative lack of creativity in the names we've seen so far, they could simply have just called the characters a generic nom de guerre and given players a male/female toggle.
DA MP is very balanced. Given that several other franchises have decided to make all their multiplayer characters male, I consider the even-handedness praiseworthy.
The fact that you feel the need to "praise" the decision to force players to play genders they might not want to play as in order to play a character they would like to play is ridiculous.
Effectively I have 5 characters that I will not ever be touching.
