[The Ascendant]

The book is coming out soon! Will we finally learn the truth behind what the hell is going on with the Wardens? Will there be Griffons in it? What mysteries and secrets will be uncovered? What do you guys think? 

I for one am looking forward to it. After a sitting on the side lines in DA 2 it will be nice to know what the Wardens have been up to since the Fifth Blight.

Do you guys think it will tie into Inquisition well? I'm low on money so I'm not sure whether I can buy it. ;; I bought (and GREATLY enjoyed) Asunder and TME because I knew they'd be significant to Inquisition's plot.

I think it will give insight on why the Wardens have been acting strangely.  Most of the book takes place during the 4th Blight, though.  Not very much takes place in the present.  But I'm only roughly half way through.

It has two POV's:

 

That of an elven mage girl named Valya, set in 9:41 - 9:42 Dragon, which makes me wonder if it is taking place during DA: I.  I still have half the book to read, so I'm not sure, and an elven mage Warden named Isseya that takes place from 5:12 Exhalted.

I've read some spoilers a couple of weeks ago , and I don't think it's going to have a big impact on Inquisition.

It looks like an interesting book , but it looks like  it opens up a new sub plot and it would be a bit early to feature in the next game .

We may stumble upon some hints , but I 'd say you can wait.

Anyway getting surpised in DAI can also be nice .

Yes.  Lots of griffons during the 4th Blight portions.

Well, we've seen the Inquisition fighting Wardens. It may be that Last Flight gives some hints about why that might be occurring.

I've been in love with Griffons since Wynne's conversation with my Warden in Origins. So think i'll pick it up.

I just picked it up at Barnes and noble. Asked the help desk guy about it. He said it wasn't supposed to release until tomorrow but it wasn't sale date protected so he let me buy it.
