Firstly, I'm running Vista, and it's the Steam version of the game. My directory is as follows:

C:\\Users\\Public\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\dragon age origins (EDIT: For some reason the forum automatically adds an extra slash, which isn't actually there in the pathname) (EDIT 2: DAMN IT NOT AGAIN)

When trying to install the aformentioned database included in the toolset file, I come up with this error:

Now, I've attempted to verify my WMI thing (that's the technical term) by running "winmgmt /verifyrepository," and the command console briefly appears and then disappears which, as I've been told, is a good thing. That's all the advice I could find on the matter.

I've tried running the toolset without Microsoft SQL Server, and I come up with the "Unable to Connect to Database" error.

I am completely clueless. Any help short to telling me to find a better OS would be greatly appreciated.
