Like inflation is a pretty stupid thing, at least having a limit prevents it from just turning into some mad e-peen contest of who has the most likes. Which is about as useful as this:

I don't dislike likes at all, they're useful and a bit of fun. I just happen to think measures to limit like spamming is useful as well. I've seen other forums where if your like/rep/karma score wasn't high enough, that was a perfectly valid reason to disregard an opinion. That sucks.

Why dont anyone think about the fact that if we had unlimited likes then everyone would have 500000000000000000 likes in no time? LOL. Maybe that's why there is a limit to them. I mean, I'm one of the first ones to curse here in this forum whenever I run out of likes but I also kind of see the point with the limit, so come on people! Think! Think dammit!!
