Will he be leading the Templars?
Or is he just a corpse?

I think he is dead.
Either way...he be a corpse............I mean , if he is alive...he'll become one when I'm done with him . If he is already a corpse....Make a necro..raise him...use him then blast him back to just a corpse ![]()
He likely isn't leading the Templars even if he is alive.
That said i would like to think he survived Cole's assassination attempt, but WOT plainly stated he was missing and presumed dead.
So him leading the Templars seems unlikely regardless.
wonder if Cole can possess him long enough to make him write a letter or give an order..or something .

Cole isn't possessing him.
That was already confirmed.

I think Cole is possessing the body of the child-Cole.
Dead.
I doubt the whole "look into my eyes " was just about glaring at Lambert because he's been a meanie.
He is not leading the Templars, at least not before the Breach, and I doubt he would be leading them after (assuming he's even alive, which he probably isn't).
His sudden and unexplained absence will make for a useful tool. It would be in his best interest to remain absent.

I always thought he was dead, given how Asunder ended. But who really knows? The prose wasn't direct in his dead vs alive status.
I think Cole is possessing the body of the child-Cole.
Hard to do that considering child Cole was cremated.
Dead.

.-. You never know, Lambert survived a long time fighting just those sort of things.
I mean Cole picked that moment because he was out of his armor and unarmed, He was the Lord Seeker after all.
Which is kind of a shame.
What's the point of making a character like Lambert if he's not the head of the Templars?
As for Lambert, I think he is alive and will show up as either the leader of the rogue Templars or as one of The Elder One's Agents of Chaos that Bioware have referenced.
Hard to do that considering child Cole was cremated.
I guess I was thrown by the fact Spirit-Cole eats, sleeps, and uses the bathroom as he says in the book.
I think he's dead, but it's a cliffhanger. If he's alive, I predict he is the templar equivalent of an abomination.
Cole isn't possessing him.
That was already confirmed.
Didn't say he was . I said I WONDER IF HE COULD .
I think Cole is possessing the body of the child-Cole.
Hum,....was that confirmed ? well since we don't know what is Cole or the entity and it's power . I say leave the door open...anything is possible . Even if he has no abilitie to possess more then one body....he could drive him insane .....or mind control..I mean..there are endless options beside the ' he survived the assasination' and 'He is dead' .
Dead, although the fact that WoT flags him as "missing" concerns me. Why would Cole need to dispose of the body?
"look into my eyes "
That kinda give me an idea lol instead of killing him...he could open a breach and push him into the fade . And before anyone say 'noo you can't/he didn't' ...I said...it is an idea .
Dead, although the fact that WoT flags him as "missing" concerns me. Why would Cole need to dispose of the body?
Hence why i have a feeling he may have survived, He could have gone underground to prevent further assassination attempts, he could be directing the templar war effort from a remote bunker somewhere, who knows.
Speculation is something i ultimately don't put much stock into and this is an old subject.
He's probably dead.

Yeah but he disappeared , and it was a turning point for Lambert since he was leaving the Chantry.
Unless Cole fried his brain , or mind control him?

It'd be cool if he was one of the Elder One's "Horseman". Kind of like the Witch-king of Angmar. But more Red Templar-y.

He doesn't need red lyrium to be a complete bad ass ![]()
