Also, this entire thread makes it sound most like Destiny = Skyrim in Space.
If anything, it's more like a Halo/Borderlands mashup without obnoxious pop-culture references every two seconds.

I heard it takes like 10 minutes to kill certain bosses.

I know that's what everyone says, but then they go on playing it obsessively and grinding for stuff to get up millions of levels in a way that sounds to me to be closer to recognisable Skyrim addiction than anything else.
Not that it's important in any way what it seems like to me. if I do play it, that will be in a few months time when everything has been rebalanced and fixed and the general complaining about it is dying down.

You can only level up to lvl 20 in Destiny from grinding XP, and you do that in only a few hours at most. After you level up to 20 then killing enemies for XP and doing missions for XP becomes more or less a waste of time. In order to level up beyond 20 you have to equip legendary or exotic gear that makes your character "as strong" as if he would've been a higher level.
It's all so incredibly stupid.
I am really enjoying Destiny at the moment, but I might get back to ME3MP sooner than I expected.
Destiny got definitely overhyped and it is not the ultimate game many people were hoping for. The story missions don't have more content than the N7 side missions from ME3 and I still don't feel like I know much about the Destiny universe after playing the game for nearly 20 hours now. Way too many questions are still open. The game content is also not as huge as I expected.
Nevertheless is Destiny in my eyes a good game with great graphics and nice environments.
Exploring the different locations with the patrol mode is still fun. The multiplayer is also great if you have good equipment.
Unlike most people, I don't think that the game is too easy. If you are playing some of the story missions or strikes on Level 20 or higher, some situations can become really really challenging.
Why are there desticles on bioware forums? Related topic: Where is the airlock?
Edit: Destiny and Skyrim are two different beasts.

'Desticles'? Is that the name morons give to people who have a different opinion about that video-game?
I didn't come up with it. It's bungie forum slang I've been lurking...... ![]()

More tedious than challenging if you ask me, with a stupid and predictable AI all you have to do is figure out their patterns and then you can't fail.
lolaimassist. Its waaaay too easy to get headshots.
The PvP is much more enjoyable when yer leveled up. I made the mistake of entering it at level 4 for my first time. It was bad. I kept getting OSK'd by overpowered fusion rifles
Level 26 and I'm still getting OSK'd by overpowered Fusion Rifles. When I'm not getting killed by an AoE ground pound that grants invincibility an kills you through cover. Worst PVP ever made.
Everything said in this thread is true... and I still can't stop playing it...
I gotta go.

Attack and defense stats don't matter. I run Uncommon (green) weapons/armour in PvP because I've received so many of them that I have the perfect weapon/armour perks for them.
If you want to win, then run a Shingen with the increased stability perk. Sniper/Fusion Rifle as secondary depending on map size/personal preference, machine gun for heavy weapon. I'm a Sunsinger, but Bladedancer is probably the best because Arc Blade is an absolutely ridiculous super that wrecks teams.
